VSG Maintenance Group

Yes, I have been exchanging texts with them today. Accepting "new" patients with BMIs less than 27 is apparently new for them, but in theory, I can switch since I can show that I have been on semaglutide for quite a while. They do seem much more flexible about the shipping, which potentially could be great for maintenance. Next steps for me are to fill out their forms and talk to them. AND, I am getting lab work done on Tuesday for my physical...want to make sure there is nothing weird going on. I haven't had any labs drawn since I started taking the sema almost a year ago. I feel great, so I would be surprised if there are any problems, but I want to make sure..

Yesterday was DS#2 birthday and he was over for his "day of wish fulfilling desires met" (a long standing family tradition that, like the obligatory Easter Bunny cake and other childishly holiday acts of delight) never get old and fade away).
Much cooking of favorite foods and treats and games played. Good times were had and Asher chose to extend the celebration into today, which has turned into bread making. Potato bread in the oven and about ready to come out. Definitely sending it home with him this afternoon. (I am absolutely not to be trusted around bake goods.)
This has been a most lovely day. Wishing everyone the same.
Greetings all
It's a sunny beautiful day here but not hot. Just what I like. I spent some time at the studio making a few odd things and I also cleaned up a bit. Nothing drastic but put stuff away and toss stuff.
Snorkeling!! I am a big fan too. DH and I used to love it. We have masks with prescription lenses in them though his would likely not be good anymore since he has had cataract removal. Me, I am still blind. Yes Cozumel is the best place to snorkel. Fish everywhere of every type. I have wondered if fat people like water sports because they are buoyant. Also being partially submerged. I have always been very comfortable in the water and I think it's because I float.
Made myself some tuna salad instead of buying it at the deli. Methinks the deli stuff is a better deal.
Interesting on the BMI rules to get meds. Not a problem for this fat lady.
Liz sounds wise that you skipped pt for a day. You did enough. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
CC that sculpture agave is really cool. Love the look. Happy birthday to your Dad! And I hear you about those chronic blabbers. The other day I told someone "gotta go the dog is throwing up on the carpet". I also seem to be a person who attracts blabby people - probably because I am a listener. People who talk all the time are not listeners usually. Hope you don't get an ear bleed.
Interesting what your realtor said CC about associating home with happiness. Could be. I wonder why those former owners moved from Sedona to Tucson? Seems like backwards to me.
No clue on dinner. Freezer exploration.

I've always been very buoyant at every weight, but particularly when I was obese. I used to take my kids to a friend's pool in the summer when I was at my heaviest. The pool had a diving well, and I sometimes worried if I needed to swim to the bottom to rescue a kid, I might not be able to, because I popped out of the water like a bobber whenever I swam under.
Hi everyone!
Long weekend showing dogs, but it was a lot of fun and rewarding and exhausting!!!!! It was the annual Woofstock show.... 1960s, summer of love, hippie themed dog show. This was the last 4 day version of the show after a 16 year run. I will miss it. Molly had lots of success and I was able to finish earning a championship on Auntie Kathryn's Brussels Griffon puppy.
I have really enjoyed the conversation the last few days about semaglutide and tirzepatide. I feel I am late to the party, so let me just say I am a big fan! LOL!
More tomorrow. I'm too pooped to post any more.
