Another lazy day here in Aruba. It was MUCH hotter here than usual because the winds were very mild during the day and died out completely in the evening. Usually we prefer to eat outside at night but we chose inside last night at the Italian restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their meal except me which was fine. I ate enough and DH has leftovers (he thought the food was okay).
I picked my friends up at the airport. They were on the beach within an hour of landing. Because it was so warm, being on the beach meant getting in the water ASAP to cool off.
This afternoon we have a private boat rented for 7 of us to go snorkeling. My surgeon cleared me for it. Snorkeling/boating is better if it isn't windy even if sitting on the beach isn't. I did procure a noodle to give me extra buoyancy. The life vests they have don't support in the most comfortable way for me.
Tonight 5 of us are going to Wacky Wahoo, a fish place, while DD and her fiancé go out for a special date night. I know I will like my meal there!
Justice continues to enjoy his stay on the Cape mostly hanging around outside with his new buddies.
Have a warm Wednesday!

Up early and tidied as the HVAC guy is coming to service my system. Just in time, it's going to be 99 today and hotter through Friday. Yeesh! I think an arrival window of 7-9 is cruel if they don't make it to you at 7. They have to know if I'm first on the list or not.
Today is shot day. I lost 1 pound this week. I had hoped it would be better.
I woke up with another bite on my head today. This one on my neck. That's 3. The other 2 were on my face. I do but I don't want to know what's biting me! Could be no see ums. Apparently they are out here from mother's day to father's day.
That's all that's happening here. Take care all!

I think I'm going to fly if I can get my act together to find a charter company. It'll be a fortune, but I don't like the alternatives - Kirby in a car for 3 days crying and occasionally throwing up or a commercial flight in cargo, which I won't do and isn't a good plan in the summer anyway.
Ha! I frequently read then comment to Liz and then when I post---there you are. Is there some cosmic force in action here?
I looked up your no see ums. Seems like they can go through regular screens and also are found on indoor plants (eggs). We call ours oak-mites ( they like to drop down off trees-yuck). Are your bites small red welts?
That does sound like no-seeums. We have them in Florida and have to have super tightly woven screens to keep them out.
