Your critters have such personality, and every single one is so unique. Ala Twilight Zone, I can imagine them, along with your hippos coming to life at night at the gallery and having a grand old time.

155.8 new batteries yesterday so maybe this counts.

Liz, that ocean view is as mesmerizing as a late night campfire. One could easily drift into fantasy just gazing out at it.

DD, are you sure you don't really live with the 7 dwarves? Or, maybe Bambi-land. Now, tell the truth- were you or were you not in jammies whilst nibbling on your pastry and enjoying the pretty flora and fauna? Do as you please; you have the best stay away line ever.

I've also been outside communing some with nature. Yep, trying my hardest to murder and mame sumac sprouts, wild grape, wild carrot, and other unwanted things. Am not sure if Mother Nature would approve...

It's getting cloudy again. We have had a heck of a rainy spring (probably why the weeds are so healthy) and cool which has been nice, but from what I understand, this summer is supposed to be exceptionally hot and humid and- long. I can do hot. It's the humidity that kicks my butt.

Plans for the rest of the day.... I see a book, maybe a pillow, and .

That looks really tasty. I often eat hardboiled eggs with cottage cheese mixed in but nothing else - this looks better.

Not much to report here. I'm growing milkweed for monarchs but I haven't had any caterpillars yet. I had a bunch last year and was lucky enough to follow one caterpillar when it decided to form the chrysallis and then saw it emerge as a butterfly 3 weeks later. Very cool!

Liz, Aruba looks wonderful and I love the pic of Justice! CC, I have that Sistaco, too. I agreee that it's the most forgiving of any home manicure product, but since I am a klutz, I can mess it up too, though I did manage, after practice, to produce nails I could live with once or twice. I had A HARD time getting it off, though, even with their magic dissolving stuff!

Take care, all!

When I was a kid, I used to put a milkweed with a crysalis in a special butterfly house thing my Dad made. Watching them hatch and then releasing them is a favorite childhood memory.
