Liz, that is a lot of moving parts to contend with so close to a trip. I'm sorry to hear your DD is not getting the assist from medication. So disappointing for her when she probably approached this with some hope. At this point, why not try the tirzepatide? It's higher level of effectiveness might be the bump needed. I know some people use other medications along with the injections such as contrave, metformin, or phentermine.

Well today was my personal tragedy. I had set aside a cute summer sweater from Ann Taylor Loft last fall because it was a wee bit too snug. I wore it today, but friends, I missed the window. Too big. Be vigilante, lest you too find yourself wearing a too big, sloppy sweater because, darn it, you want to wear it at least once!

Another day closer to summer break, filled with emails and report writing. One young man, whose grade was at 30% decided to turn in a bunch of missing work, starting with assignments from Early April. That happens with students who can't initiate tasks until their hair is on fire so I'll still accept them. But the kicker is he sent me an email, AFTER school saying, I turned in some missing assignments, can you please enter them? Oh son, you made me wait 2 months, but I should correct and enter them tonight? Goodness. I'll get to them when I get to them.

My weight holds steady. I am in no danger of losing access to my medication because my BMI is too low. It's a blessing to not have to worry about that. Tee hee. Joking aside, I am content, and feeling so much better than last year.

LOL on missing the sweater opportunity. I started trying a couple of things in my closet on that I used to wear to see if they fit yet. Definitely want to avoid a window of opportunity. Except I can't do that with my white jeans as apparently all sizes are in Florida! How did that happen when all my smaller sizes of shorts and dresses are here???
