Weird weather day, rain, sun, then both at the same time. Makes me think of Credence Clearwater Revival: I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain coming down on a sunny day?

Trudging along towards June 10, knocking out paperwork and trying to keep the kiddos from going off the rails.

Holding on to the little tiny weight loss, so I guess it's real. Moving from my lightning fast pace of 3 pounds a month to 1 pound a month. Perhaps it will pick up again once school is out.

Sunny windy days continue. Scrabble this morning and I won one and lost two. But I gave the Shark a run for his money. He is actually a lovely person with a unique talent for vocabulary and word structure. A walking dictionary.

DH is still at the jury. Hope they get done soon. Nephew comes late tomorrow maybe. Who knows. I have not yet started on the laundry nor have I purchased any food. DH was supposed to bring home thai food but both places are. closed.

So after scrabble I had to go get payroll and take it to the studio and sign checks. Would not seem like a big deal but it involved three different towns. Then I had to get cash for the housekeeper and check the gates as the lawn mowers were here. All is well. Now I just need to start laundry even though I feel like eating chocolate and taking a nap. At least I got the flowers watered.

CC so glad your shoulder is healing. As Liz would confirm, you don't realize how critical it is until it doesn't work. Wishing everyone good joint health. A sign of geezerdom to be wishing that.

DD the last days of school must be pretty wild. Hope the time flies without incident! Do you have summer travel plans?

DH wanted to watch more of Franklin last night. I sat through one but took a shower during the second. It is slightly better than the first episode but not much. All I can find to like is the attention to period detail. Not enough. We have also been watching Hacks which is fun. Need a new drama that has no aliens.

I felt the same about Franklin. Plus it's Michael Douglas playing himself instead of Ben Franklin.

Yes, Franklin is disappointing. It would seem like there would be so much potential to tell an amazing story, I mean, Benjamin Franklin, c'mon.

We are suffering from lack of new shows to start as well. All these sources and nothing popping out...

I think this is a delayed result of the long writers/SAG strike...
