Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2024
Maybe those hunger spurts are normal for people who are naturally thin (one's body making sure that you will eat some more of something it needs like protein)?
158.2.
Beautiful Memorial Day here. Just lazing around watching the grass grow.
This morning we cleared all of the house business on our side and ready for the realtor to send concerns to seller this Wednesday. I visualize transactions like these as like playing a tennis game- ball in my court, send ball back over the net to the other side who are then going to hit it back over, blah blah bla. The game eventually ends.
What's with all this hang up with these meds-shortages and getting them where they need to go in a timely manner? Hoping all get what you need when you need it without so much worry and fuss.
Teachers, enjoy these last weeks of school and the refreshing summer upcoming.

Greetings all
Early for me but things are stacking up. It's sunny and beautiful and the Kinetic Sculpture race ends today in Ferndale. I will meet up with studio buddy and catch up on local gossip. Got a text this morning from our nephew reminding us that he and his Dad will be here probably Wednesday. They are doing a big road trip up and down California and his Dad has never seen redwoods. I had this event on my "out there sometime" radar but now it's coming right up. So gotta shovel out the guest room and wash everything and prepare for someone to maybe sleep on the living room couch. DH will still have jury duty all week so entertaining is on me. These two are easy going and self sufficient but been a hostess really stresses me out. Fortunately there is so much cool stuff to do around here that I don't have to organize all that.
Hope the meds arrive Liz. Not fun to worry about. Before I dumped CVS for the new local pharmacy I was always in a tizzy about being able to get meds on time because half the time they messed up.
Lizanne interesting about your more recently sleeved friend. I am grateful to be a LAPSF grad as well as those docs believed in a really tight sleeve. Still works though and I know I would have had more regain.
This week feels very off. Feels like Sunday even though it is monday and kiln day. Payroll for the studio is off a day.
No clue whats for dinner. Time to explore the freezer.
