It is amazing to realize how heavy it feels when we pick up something equal to our excess weight. Really emphasizes why there is so much strain on knees, feet, backs, etc.

OH is in rare form this afternoon. I've lost count of the number of gateway errors! Typing this up elsewhere and pasting it in.

Up 0.8 after lunch and dinner out and I didn't eat a lot. So I imagine salt and just much heavier food than I've been eating. One was a burger place, the other French with sauces, so it was hard to choose any better. We had a nice time. I bought that painting with the stuff glued to it and they are bringing it and hanging it for me tomorrow. Happy not to have to do either!

We had a nice time. Shopping meals out and a hike up Doe Mountain today. Of course I fell. But my guardian angel was looking out for me because I fell onto my hands and knees over a very spiky cactus - knees right behind, hands right in front. It could have been really terrible. Ugh. I really need to work on my balance/quad strength, it's crappy! I don't even know what I did except lose my footing and then couldn't right myself. How embarrassing.

I think my roof is done, but they didn't tack the camera wires back down. I left a message, so hopefully they will come back out and do that.

The weather was beautiful today. 79 and cool (sometimes that can feel hot, but there is such a nice breeze. All the windows are open).

I had to chuckle, with Lizanne's arrival our tiny group has 3 Diane's, 2 Bonnie's, and 2 Liz variations (and now that I think about it, 2 Anne ones)! Maybe Shirley and I should change our names to Devon? Welcome to you, Lizanne!

Tomorrow I have my hair appointment and my painting is coming late afternoon. Sunday is lunch with two local friends. My tires still haven't come in, so a long weekend with the loaner.

Hooray for healing shoulders, new cars, and new friends! I think that's all my news... take care!

LOL on our names! Just another thing our group has in common. Devon could be a woman's name.

I have been typing the morning posts elsewhere and copying/pasting them into OH for about a month now after losing too many of them. OH does seem better behaved early in the morning on the east coast before the entire country is on.
