I've had a very nice morning. My appointment was at 9am. Good news, my BP was 117/75. On my own, I stopped taking my medication, because I was getting so dizzy when I stood up. I was on a pretty low dose anyhow. Yeah! Everything else seems good. Will wait for the bloodwork results.
Glad you are done, done with that med Liz. Some side effects are just too much. I agree, the weight up tick will resolve itself next week. Meanwhile, enjoy being able to wear your smaller clothes. How are you feeling about the dress you bought for your DD's wedding?
After my appointment, I went shopping, and found a few things I will enjoy. A dress, 2 blouses and a light weight cardigan. I am the cardigan queen, due to my fear of excessive air conditioning.
Looks like the air show will be good weather tomorrow. Its in Duluth. Duluth is a harbor city on Lake Superior, and weather wise it is our little San Francisco. It can be 80 and sunny on the other side of the hills, and when you drive into Duluth you find fog and 50s. Anyhow, the forecast is for mid 70s and sunshine. It will be in the 80s in Minneapolis.
I think were headed to Costco in a bit. I'm craving Greek Salads, and Costco has yummy feta etc.
Glad you had a good appointment this morning!
I'm actually a bit nervous that I may need to have the dress taken in some by the time of the wedding (better that then the opposite).

The day seemed to getaway from me somehow- drinking coffee this morning, then, Poof, the day is about over.
We had a chance to view a house before it hit the MLS, and were the first to see it. The property is on the opposite end of town from the kiddos, but otherwise tics off many positive boxes and very few checks on the "meh" side. The asking price is close to the actual value- a fair one; however, the realtor mentioned that, based on what the market will bear, the house is under priced, and sellers may be looking to multiple offers to draw a much higher than asking offer. Not being realistic, we're putting in an offer at asking price. I figure if it's meant to be it will happen.
Spent the rest of the day with the kids which was totally delightful.
I've never been able to be blasé about house offers. I always get excited and picture living there. Luckily we have been able to negotiate a deal each time. The one we were in for 20 years made us push up the offer a lot because we were competing with another prospective buyer so we paid more than we had planned. But it turned out to be a wonderful home to raise our children in and after 20 years we still got a good return on our initial investment.
