Ooof-tah! (southwest mid Michigan exclaimative) I did my growing up in Eaton Rapids and then schooling in Kalamazoo and know the weather can be quite volatile over that region. Your folks are on Lake Michigan, aren't they? I've seen vehicles looking more or less like golf balls, deeply dimpled all over because of those crazy hail storms. Glad they've missed the most of it.

They are! A tiny township in the "pinkie" about 10 miles north of Manistee.

I had you pictured somewhere north, say, of Holland. Manistee- it's just beautiful up there---lucky ducks!
