I would have been in big trouble without amplification. I struggle hearing the TV sometimes these days (hearing aids are probably in my future but not yet).

My hearing is just fine, but I have taken to using subtitles all the time watching tv. So much mumbling these days or background sounds interfering with dialogue! Plus I watch a lot of UK and Australia shows and I need help with some dialects...
