Another gorgeous day, as is predicted for the entire week. It will be a busy one for us as it is the last week before we have company up to the time we go north.

So at this dose of tirzepatide I don't seem to have as dramatic an effect as the rest of you. I still feel like eating - I think the only impact is that I feel satisfied with less. At least that was the case yesterday. This morning at our usual Sunday breakfast out I just had 2 eggs, but skipped the hash browns I generally have.

Today is a beach day - not sure when we will go again this week. Before that it is Justice walk time. Have a super Sunday!

That sounds about like my experience. I can eat, but often stop sooner than I normally do. At the next dose up that is coupled with unpredictable aversions to textures. So 2 eggs is enough for me for breakfast. I haven't experienced what Peps has - that looking up in the afternoon and realizing I haven't eaten yet. I still want to eat, just less at the beginning of my dose week and more at the end.

A break in the scale stalemate! I got to a new glp-1 low. Let!s hope I can keep it up.

I got my hair cut and colored yesterday. My stylist brought up my weight loss with no prompting from me and said my face is a lot thinner. Yay!

I am so covered in dog hair. He needs a bath and a really good brush. I was never this covered in fur with Fergus as he never wanted to be touching!

I think that's it from me. Hoping to catch a cleaning bug today and get to tidying...

Have a lovely day!

Yay on noticeable weight loss!!!!! That is the absolute best. I am not there yet - or at least no one has said anything to me. However, I can tell. My newest suits that I bought last fall are too big. The pants really need to be taken in.

Liz, I think it's smaller portions and passing up something you might have eaten in the past that works its magic. I mean 2 eggs, that's a 150 calorie breakfast! So yeah for decreased appetites, thinner faces, new lows, and baggy pants!!!!

This morning we got going and stocked up at Costco and Aldi. We were really out of food, especially the nutritious kind. Feeling happy to have cut up fruit, a Costco Chicken, shrimp, salad mix, tomatoes, cucumber, yogurt, some high protein granola for when I want something sweet... all set for awhile. We also bought a bouquet of flowers for in the house, and a big pot of snap dragons and pansies for outside. Its too early for bedding plants in Minnesota, but I can take in a pot or two at night.

I scrubbed doors, light switches and wiped down the walls in the foyer. Also tossed a bunch of shoes that were cluttering up the only hallway closet. I like the rug. I asked DH if he would be willing to do this in one room each weekend. Deep clean it. If we did that, it would only take an hour or so with both of us working, Between cleaning, and yesterday's workout, my muscles are letting me know they've been used. Today will be more sedate. I got the cushions for the porch furniture out of the basement, and am sitting on the porch admiring my pot of flowers. A yellow finch stopped by the bird bath. I couldn't be more pleased, unless it was a 3 day weekend. :)

Your contentedness and pleasure in your day is so well expressed. Your post made me smile!

Just about to start Franklin about Ben Franklin with Michael Douglas on AppleTV+. I love a good period piece!

I also need to finish Masters of the Air. That one is tense and a bit depressing. And catch up on Palm Royale.

Greetings

Short note. We got the car. Look up Nissan Ariya. All electric. Pretty cool. Lots of BS in the process. Waste of time but its done.

DH is now moving stuff in the garage to put it inside. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to move stuff.

More tomorrow. I am tired.
