Maybe your physician suggested Metformin because it is much cheaper? Still loving what you are reporting. What you have is compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide?
I am sitting here right now craving a thin mint - LOL sort of...
Yeah, Liz owns one less house!!!
Diane, going to France sounds amazing. You've spoke of Paris before. Are you a francophile? And yes, do update your passport. Everyone should have a passport because you just never know what opportunity life might present.
CC, so glad your grout work is done! You will finally have your house to yourself.
Today we started with brun*****elebration, then walked around their town and little lake. It is an interesting town, A planned community developed by Disney, but no longer run by them. I'm kind of fascinated by these places. If you saw the Truman Show, it was filmed in Seaside, another similar community. Architects who design these communities study what is the optimal setback for houses that fosters neighborly connections, or width of a street that still encourages walking (apparently people don't like to walk along superwide streets, even if they are landscaped). One author coined it the Architecture of Reassurance. Anyhow, Celebration is very charming, but maybe has a Stepford Wives vibe too.
Pool time started nicely, but then this couple started chatting us up. Or talking at us. Every so often you run into these braggart types, thinking did I ask? as they tell you about their whatever: boat, car, trip, etc. Anyhow, I escaped them by swimming a few times, and then returning to my lounge, and putting my hat over my face while I sunbathed.
We had dinner at Disney Springs, and then listened to music at House of Blues. Always a good time, they bring in the best acts.
We need to leave for the airport at 10:30 am, so there may be time to grab a little sun tomorrow morning. The weather has been just outstanding. I've slept so well, like I'm in a coma. Back to real life tomorrow evening, where I hear it might be snowing. Next trip is in a month, then only one quarter left of the school year. I can do this!!!
So glad you have had a good trip. Yeah planned communities are intriguing but weird. Years ago we had friends who lived in one outside of DC. it was cool that there were community pools and stores within a pre-planned distance but it did feel like rather odd housing (too uniform I guess).
