Great visit with DD and her DH yesterday. So much fun to become friends online then have it continue in person. The guys enjoy talking too. And lovely to see how happy DD and her DH are together :)
One day until we close on the former house. My DH is going to feel greatly relieved as it really bothered him having to carry both over the last 9 months. We never expected it to take more than 3-4 months at most.
Today DH is playing golf so I am going to the beach, then food shopping in anticipation of my SILs visit this week. We finally have a run of perfect Florida winter days. It has taken quite a while to get here.
Eating healthy is going okay except for the glasses of wine. Need to stop going out so much!
Have a margarita Monday (my iPad suggested that word so why not?)

The grouting drags on. He apologized for what a learning curve my job was for him. This is going to be really expensive! At this point I just want him to be done. He was here all weekend. Wouldn't be surprised if he's here all week.
We're going out to lunch at Mariposa today. They haven't been and wanted to see it.
Scale was down another 0.4 today. 11.8 total. Tomorrow is my 4th shot.
Loved your meetup pictures!
Not much else going on here. Folks leave Wednesday. It's time!
Hope you all have a great day!
Fantastic job on losing! Do you feel like you are working at it or do feel you are just doing what you would normally do and the medication is making you want less food?

I'm actively trying to make better choices trying to focus on protein, but I guess it doesn't feel like working in the sense that I'm not endlessly fighting the urge to eat or fighting cravings the way I usually would.
There are good cookies in the kitchen and I was thinking I could have one, but it wasn't worth getting myself in there to get it and then I forgot. Before I would never forget. It would be an underlying drumbeat of "cookies" I would be fighting against until I gave in or they got eaten by someone else. Or wanting pizza when I saw a pizza ad or wanting whatever food was mentioned to me by someone (like the suggestion of ice cream by my dad last night. I could have eaten it and would have liked it, but it wasn't really hard to say no because I didn't need it).
The drumbeat is now more of a random light pulse. There every once in a while, but not terribly difficult to ignore. So I still hear the habitual suggestions, like "you could get those peanut m&ms at the grocery checkout, but I can more easily say no to myself rather than the inner tantrum I would feel at depriving myself previously. Anyway, that's how the lack of food noise is manifesting in me!

I wish you could too! Maybe worth looking into compounding like, Peps? It sounds like some people can stretch their shots out rather than do it every week after a while. I was watching a woman on YouTube who was at her goal weight saying she only takes it once a month now to keep her in check.
She writes on the daily what are you eating thread in RNY. She lives in Massachusetts so I met her once back in 2018. It was obviously a OH technical glitch.
Greetings all
Back to the keyboard. It's raining lightly today. No big deal. Weatherman said there would be big storms so maybe they are just not here yet.
Lawn guy comes to estimate today. Hope it's not raining as I hate the idea of walking through wet overgrow back yard.
DH had to go this morning to help his tech challenged friend. He called last night and could not turn on the tv at all. Turns out there was a software update that changed some aspects of the options. DH fixed it but even he agreed it was not nice for the tv maker to do that. Anyway its fixed.
DD and Liz love the pictures and LOVE the dresses! I have sort of forgotten the joy of long dresses. I wore them all the time as a young college hippie.
CC glad the med is working for you. Yeah just turning down the volume of the food noise would be a good thing.
Spent yesterday afternoon at the studio with buddy. When she works on art she stops complaining so it's good. I left feeling more optimistic than usual and vowed to find my passport and renew it. I am feeling somewhat more energetic which I think is due to the regular treadmill walking which has been going on since last fall. Finally seems to have some impact. Day 3 of Fairlife protein drinks. Why don't they make protein wine?
