The rain held off until after 2 pm today. And then it only rained lightly here. At home (3 hours north) it rained steadily all day long.

Dog show went much better today..... Molly won Best of Breed, got a nice look in regular group, and then got an owner handled group 3 placement. She was a good girl today - even after I accidentally poked her in the corner of her eye with a comb!!!! It must have really hurt or scared her because she really hit the deck! Poor girl. I felt horrible. Luckily, no harm done and she was able to walk it off.

Buster had his hips x-rayed today. They are not stellar, which is bothersome to me. His father has excellent hips and his mother's are very good, too. I just have to wait and see what the University of Pennsylvania says about them. I'll have to xray him for Orthopedic Foundation for Animals once he turns 2, as well. But if his hips are really not healthy, I will have to think about placing him in a pet home. It would be the fair and kind thing for him, though hard on me. That's a bridge I will cross when I have the information....

Semaglutide is promised to arrive by Friday, the 23rd. I'm hoping sooner. I have a telephone appt. with my PCP to discuss the medication on Tuesday. Am getting more and more curious about his request for a phone appointment.

I am settled in for a quiet RV evening. Dogs are fed, I am fed, so it's time for some dog walking and Netflix!

Sorry about Buster's potential hip problems. Does it run in Airedales? I know it does in some breeds, most noticeably German Shepherds.

Yeah, Airedales tend to be a somewhat "loose hip" breed. As a breed this condition has improved a great deal over the years through selective breeding, but it can still pop up.
