Justice seems much better this morning. Still a bit slower than usual but his tail is up again. Last night he had a good bathroom stop (though we had to use the elevator instead of stairs), then he ate all his dinner, and slept well last night. It probably was intestinal discomfort as it doesn't take much to disturb a little chihuahua sized system. He may have ingested something he shouldn't have outside.

I may be crazy but I bought a dress through Poshmark for my MOB dress. It is NWT and is a prior style from a dress maker who makes them by hand. $100 for a $600 dress. I will need to have it altered because I want a high-low hemline but hopefully it will work. If it looks terrible I won't feel awful about the purchase.

Today we hopefully will do our Justice walk then have an appointment about DH's pacemaker which is good because the last appointment was totally unsatisfying. We are going to pass our feelings on about that to the physician.

Have a fine Friday!

I had to look up NWT.... New With Tags (for the rest of you who don't know about such things....) Sheesh..... MOB I figured out, but my skill with acronyms is clearly in need of improvement. Though I discovered that NWT is a Poshmark specific acronym.

I didn't know either! TIL (today I learned...)

LOL - I like to search on Poshmark (because I love a good deal), so I guess I thought NWT was a usual acronym (I am definitely not good at them either).

We went out to dinner yesterday and I ate too much. Though I still left part of my lasagna untouched. That plus focusing on hydrating and I bounced back up 1.8 pounds. Such is life.

Mason guy is still grinding. I walked with my friend this morning and her dog Luna who snapped at Kirby the only other time they met (he earned it and she's crotchety). After one pain free correction at the start when he was in her face, the rest of the walk was great. He walked at a nice pace (my neighbor has heart issues and can't walk fast) and wasn't annoying. He did throw up his breakfast and morning training treats about 2/3rd through, but otherwise is fine. Probably too much excitement or too many swallowed rocks.

Aside from that, no news here. Bug guy comes later. Exciting day!

Take care all!

I haven't spent much time on Poshmark, but my DD does. She sends me links all the time, Mom, do you want this? If I say yes, she orders it for me and I reimburse her. It's like having a personal shopper. I have several coats from the site, and pieces I just love. So Liz, it makes perfect sense to me to shop there! I hope the dress works well for you.

Friday!! Friday!!! 3 day weekend!!!! Tomorrow we will go visit my parents. Otherwise, no set plans.

CC , getting a trainer sounds like a good use of time. At least to me. I am admittedly not great at training dogs. One of my friends said your kids are so good, your dog's so naughty, why is that? I said I felt less of a responsibility for the dog to have good character. ( She was not referring to our sainted dog Bella, but the one who proceeded her, Jesse, affectionately known as the best bad dog in the world, and frequently told, you're lucky you are so pretty).

15 day forecast for Orlando is looking pretty favorable, mostly sunny days, with highs in the mid 70s. I think that will be warm enough in the sun. Looks like evenings could be coolish, in the 50s, so I'll probably need to bring some summer weight sweaters too.

Greetings all

More clouds today but it is dry. I was feeling sorry for the roofers working across the street when DH pointed out that it's better than working in boiling heat and humidity. True enough.

We went out to lunch with friends at the Chinese buffet. I am amazed how other people can eat three heaping plates of food. Thanks to VSG I can eat only part of a modest plate. And yet here I sit still fat. Of course everyone in that place is obese except for kids. American eating culture is not cool. After lunch we went to the next door dollar store I need new glassware that I can hold on to. My gimpy hands don't open fully and I need glassware with a narrow base. We have a couple of old cocoa cola glasses but more needed. I found a few. Cheap if I break them.

Hey I did not know what NWT meant either. Sounds like a great deal Liz. I have never looked at poshmark but maybe I will. I don't think I own a single actual dress anymore. Panty hose and dress shoes are a deal breaker.

Otherwise I have piddled the day away with laundry and hair washing and puttering. Serious puttering needed to pick up debris of life.

CC Kirby will learn a few manners with minor physical corrections. He just doesn't know any better at this age. Goldens are eager to please. I wish I could send you my friend who is a private dog trainer who knows so much. I am sure you can find a good one. Hope the tile guy finishes soon.

Liz glad Justice is feeling better.

Yay DD long weekend. Enjoy every minute.

Peps hug the pups. Looked like quite the birthday party for you on FB. Fun

Cheers. Diane S

I like summer dresses because it's so easy, just pop one on, go stockingless and add sandals. I never want to deal with pantyhose/tights either. Occasionally in the winter I have to, but mostly don't wear dresses when it's cold.
