We accepted an offer the day after we saw you! We have been so nervous after having the last one fall through. I guess I didn't mention it because we were so nervous and because of the other news about the engagement/wedding pushed it out of my mind!

I have all my fingers and toes crossed! Kirby's crossing his paws...

And those are significant paws!!!

Yay to snowy movie set mornings! Yay to mental health days! (I could have used one today, too! This laryngitis thing i have going is beginning to wear on me...) Double yay to wedding venues available in September!!!!!

California is getting another good soaking today, but without the high winds from the weekend. I could use a several day period of drying out....

This morning I succumbed to DONUT! Oh, well.... Some donuts are worth it. This one most definitely was. When it's worth it, I feel far less guilt. LOL.....

My brother's new PCP decided to take him off metformin and put him on Ozempic or Wegovy. Can't remember which. I'm like, SERIOUSLY???? I felt rather envious. He doesn't work on his weight really. Though he is down about 50 from his over 300+ weight he doesn't stress over his size like I do. OF course, my parents never, ever got on him about his weight because he had less confidence than I. So, he grew up with very different messages about eating. My mother would even fix him comfort food. Me, I was told to go out and play or eat an apple. That is a wound that is easily reopened for me. Even at my ripe old age, I harbor some resentment about that.

Have a staff meeting today and also a breeding to manage. Blitz will enjoy his afternoon, no doubt! Hehehehehe.....

Puppies are doing so well with both crate and potty training. Not usually this easy to potty train two at the same time. They are awfully cute when they pee and poop in unison!

There were many expectations put on me also, that my brother escaped. Despite lots and lots of healing, it still stings sometimes, even now. But in the end, I've done okay, and even thrived. If my Mom tried to dim my light because my brother's light was different and he was the favorite, well, it didn't happen. Shine on everyone!

late iPad check in. Dh is snoring. Spent the day buying dogfood and making calls to understand my 401k plan distribution options. I have determined the time frame so the rest is pretty similar. Gotta just pull the trigger.

also got dog food for my fussy little *****es.

we started watching "Colin from accounts" on paramount plus. A rom com where a border terrier i**** by a car and these two people fuss over this dog. It's a nice looking dog. Most borders in shows are presented very ratty looking. Think "there's something about Mary". Cute show but needs to be more about dog.

also watching a British detective show "criminal record". Pretty good
