Nope no pacemaker yet. I think they try various drugs perforce pacemaker or electrical stuff, some need pacemaker immediately like our bil. Others do drugs, mysteries of medicine. There is also a reversal of electrical stuff. Beyond me, hoping for non invasive solution.

fun party today. Most of us are old it children of the ole. A nice fun mix. Then we watched Grammies. Good show. Nite nite all. Dianes

My mother had afib caused by a faulty valve. She was too old for surgery so they managed her on medications for almost 15 years. I believe afib can be caused by multiple things and the way to deal with it depends on the cause. Mt mother had medications to manage the symptoms: digitalis (later a newer drug) to slow her heart rate and Coumadin to thin her blood to avoid strokes.

I hope you don't have flooding! I saw some scary reports about that this morning.
