Quick post this morning as we need to get out walking before volunteering at a tennis tournament here this week. It is all hands on deck in our community to staff the event.

DH and I somewhat started our better eating plans though some of the leftovers we ate yesterday weren't optimal. But they are gone now! Tonight I will make the chili. Chicken is also defrosting for grilled chicken on other nights.

I have been wearing supportive, stiffer sneakers for walking which I had from a previous foot problem. Though they correct my under pronation they aren't helping my knees. Back to my softer choices. I hate spending the money for a super cushiony sneaker like a Hoka partially because I don't like how wide the base is but we shall see.

Everyone must be busy today!

I got a text this morning from LillyDirect that they have my prescription and fulfillment is running about 7 business days because they are inundated. I wonder if that's 7 days from when it was sent to them (1/17) or from this text?

It's still raining off and on today. Bet the plants are happy! Only 47 today, so it's damp and chilly. It should be warmer and sunnier when Liz is here. We've made plans to meet up!

Quick trip to the grocery store today, brushed and played with Kirby, and vegging mostly. He had me up at 5 again. I wish I knew how to have his "big potties" before bedtime rather than so early in the morning! Update: he last his 5th tooth. Amazing how fast the new ones come in. It's hours before the new one peeks out.

News flash I beat The Shark at scrabble today. By a lot. I had lucky draws and good letters. Won game two and lost #3 by just a little. A fun day.

While we play we watched the baby eagle in southwest florida. Its eating like a pig and growing like a weed.

Liz that chili looks good. Reminded me that it is the season for good soup. I got some vegetable broth and lentils at the store today to make some. But DH found a pot pie at the health food store so thats for tonight.

CC Kirby must be at maximum chew phase now. And yeah, why do they have to get up so dang early? When are you and Liz visiting?

Overcast here today but not much rain. We could use a break as low spots are flooding. There are warnings to stay away from the beaches and such though it's not windy today. i stopped in the studio for awhile and finished some items to dry. The usual drama is always going on.

Liz I hope you find some good shoes. I have spent thousands on orthotics in my life and most of them are no good. New pair of classic rebbocks should arrive soon. Same shoe style for 30 years.

I have heard the movie "The Lift" is good. we will watch soon. We are still watching How to get Away with Murder even though it's hard to follow. I think it has 6 or 7 seasons.

Lordy the tax documents are starting to arrive. Must convince DH to file the stuff in one place so we can find it all.

We watched The Lift when DS was here and we all enjoyed it.

Also - CC and I are meeting up a week from today. And I get to meet Kirby too!

I got home at 9:30pm from my hair appointment, and am now in my jammies 30 minutes later. It's lights out, more tomorrow!

We were lights out at 9:15 last night. LOL!
