It is quite pleasant out right now at 8 am though it is supposed to rain again later. It poured yesterday afternoon. Dinner last night (cooked by DS) was great!

The blood tests don't say much to me but I'm sure I will hear from my doctor once the ultrasound results are received by him. I have been really tired lately but I also seem to have this nasal drip thing going on so maybe I have a low-key virus?

We may go to a museum about the Treasure Coast today (we went to a talk about them yesterday afternoon). Dinner out at a place know for unique cuisine (located in a strip mall LOL).

I just heard from a close friend that she was laid off Friday. What a shock! She was promoted to VP a couple of years ago but is in her 60's and starting to plan her retirement after her stock vested. They laid her off just before that. No loyalty by corporations these days - it is all about the money. She says she is okay, just angry about the stock.

Time to get out for a walk while it is nice out. Have a terrific Tuesday!

Hoping to get Kirby's worm type diagnosed so we can get him on medication to clear them up! They said today or tomorrow and I am really hoping for today. His poor intestines! This morning it had blood in addition to the worms. Yucky and likely uncomfortable. And exhausting for me as the poor thing had me up three times to go outside.

Can my dog friends shed some light on where puppies get worms? Would these be left over from puppyhood? He hasn't gotten into any droppings on our walks that I recall, but there's a lot of coyote poop out there and maybe an egg on piece of grass he grabbed?

He also threw up his first rock at 6am. Uncle Fergus would be so proud...

The balloons are up. The balloon crash yesterday south of Phoenix solidified that I have no interest. But they are pretty from terra firma.

No plans today. We need to plan out some dinners. I really hate that and so does my dad's wife! So we force each other to do 3-4 days planning at a time. Last night I made halibut and lemon Parmesan risotto. White fish is not my favorite, but they love it. Whoo was the risotto good! I ate too much. Maybe a bit of last supper thinking there.

Still no word on my prescription. No ru****'s fine. Has anyone researched how much compounding is? I wonder if a reputable compound pharmacy would be less expensive and trustworthy? Hard to imagine Eli Lilly would allow that. I would certainly avoid random online sources, but I remember having to use a compounding pharmacy back east for Fergie's heart meds when there were shortages and we couldn't get them reliably.

Liz your numbers don't sound like hot/toxic nodules like mine. My recent numbers were TSH undetectable, high Free T3, high normal T4. Apparently if you ultrasound adults, up to 76% of people have nodules and never know it and they cause no problems! But maybe unrelated to the nodules, your thyroid hormones may need tweaking? Not sure as that's outside my experience.

Anyway, I'm just rambling. Hope everyone is well and happy!

PS - for any Wordle friends, I got it in 2 both Sunday and Monday. Hmm, I might be a little psychic...

I am guessing that assuming the nodules are no big deal neither are the blood test results. We shall see.

Poor Kirby (and you)! I hope they can eradicate the worms and help him feel better quickly. No wonder he has been going so much at night!

I think Brown Eyed Blonde posted about her experience with a compounding pharmacy in TT? She might have some info on safe options.

Home from work on a very cold day enjoying a hot chocolate made with fair life milk and the smallest amount of Nestles Quick. We are picketing the board tonight. I've decided as a senior citizen I do not have to do extreme weather events. So I'm staying here. In my warm house.

I'm at 29 pounds lost. Definitely can see it in how clothes fit. I'm disappointed though that I don't feel an increase in energy. Walking up stairs etc, I don't feel any lighter. I need to get back to working out. Sigh.. It's hard to do the things that we know we should do.

DH is out with his best friend. My BFF gets home in about an hour. I'm enjoying the quiet and peace at the moment.

Happy Tuesday (thought it feels like a Monday...)

Somehow I've managed to lose weight over the past several weeks after that high blip. Maybe just thinking about NSNG has got me eating less.... LOL! Kidding.... Not sure why the weight came back off because I have not gone off sugar or lowered carbs yet. However, I have been eating less, so maybe that's it.

Not much to post today... Pups that left yesterday are doing well at last report. The one pup should have landed in Washington state by now. Gonna miss that little bug. He was a real lover and never, EVER, stopped smiling.

I have been putting off getting the roof done, and I really shouldn't.... The temporary fix is a lot cheaper, so I think I will do that now and wait to replace the roof until we have better weather.

Have two little Wire Fox Terriers to groom this afternoon. That'll keep me busy.....

Adios, lovelies!

Greetings all

Foggy and rainy today. Went to Scrabble and won one game. I am about to give up on ever beating The Shark again. He had two 70 point plays. I am just cannon fodder for him. But I won one big ane lost the last by just a little. It's a fun group and we talk about current events and local lore.

Liz in some cases its illegal to lay off person shortly before a benefit vests. Probably not applicable to your friend but she should check it out. Shopping mall dinner sounds intriguing.

Hmmm CC no clue where the worm pick up occurs but I think it can be most anywhere. Including the eaten rock. Hope Kirby gets over his tummy issues soon. Yeah planning and organizing dinner/activties is no fun. But better than shopping and cooking. Halibut is so great! Reminds me that crab season has started here.

Did some studio time today. Then I stopped at the studio accountant (also my accountant) and picked up quarterlies, statements, 1099's and a boat load of other stuff. New worker there but all is good.

Watched the Emmys last night. It was a pretty good awards show. Lots of fun stuff worked into the awards. Beef won a ton of stuff. A great series. The Bear also won a lot. We watched some of that but got tired of the yelling in the kitchen. Maybe will watch the rest.

DD I think you have earned the right to do your picketing in spirit only. Stay warm.

Gallery meeting in an hour. Zoom meeting. I plan to have a coffee mug full of wine so they don't see me drinking. I got our sales tax done and paid so I can report that.

Cheers. Diane S
