What a winter here! Apparently El Niño is causing the wet, cool, cloudy conditions here. It may not improve for a while. But it is better than snow and ice!
DS' visit is going well but costing me money - he convinced me to order a bunch of wine at the wine tasting last night. Good wine and we will drink it eventually, but still not in the budget.
I was chatting with a neighbor who lost 40 pounds on Mounjaro. He says he just isn't hungry. He has had some back issues due to his weight and wants to get more healthy prior to retiring so he and his wife can travel. He said his only negative side-effect was constipation which he was able to easily resolve. I guess if I assume I would only use it for a few months I could justify the cost. But certainly not for long-term.
This morning the "boys" (DH and DS) are golfing. I am waiting for it to warm up a bit more then will take Justice out. It was 55 when we got up.
Have a solid Sunday!
PS: I just found out why prescription savings cards are not available for individuals with Medicare Part D prescription plans: Anti-Kickback Laws! Even though Wegovy and Zepbound are not covered by Medicare plans, I can't get a savings card unless I lie. What a catch-22!
Sort of like VSG - we had to learn how to eat differently. This guy is getting nutritional counseling too and eating a lot more healthy so he has a chance at not needing it forever,

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby. Up barking to come out of his crate 4 times from 4 until 6:30 (two potty visits, two I don't want to be in here anymore, I want to play ones) when I gave up and got up and fed him. I fell asleep on the couch only to have him jump on me and bite wanting to play. This puppy stuff is rough. I feel like a zombie. Last night I fell asleep on the couch and was thinking it was 8 and I could go to bed soon, then realized it was only 7 and wanted to cry!
I might try to fit a nap in today and walk the dog, but otherwise, no plans.
Wish we had some of that moisture here! It was supposed to be wetter than normal. But that hasn't materialized.
Wish I could see what was going on with your little man. But, I am going to suggest a squirt bottle at your bedside. He is certainly old enough to last the night without going potty. That is of course, if your normal nights are 6-8 hours. More than that, he's not going to make it.
Squirt bottle routine: Every time he fusses in his crate, e.g. crying, scratching to get out, etc.... squirt him in the face and tell him no. He'll eventually get the message.

I have one! It quickly cured his desire to chew on the fringe on the temporary living room chairs. Given his poop issues night before last, I figured he needed the benefit of the doubt last night. The first two potty visits were indeed poops, but normal ones. I think he's still adjusting to more kibble - more in, more out! The other two were frustrated puppy barks. Telling the difference is a challenge. I think he's also entering that stage where he's really testing boundaries and seeing what happens if he doesn't do what I say. Fun times!
Despite my complaints, he is a good boy and sweet. I just get really short fused from being tired and from his biting and wanting to play attack me all the time, tear holes in my clothes, and stand on me if I'm sitting (thankfully no one else, but exhausting to be the only recipient of this).
Greetings
gallery duty and iPad. Suns out and the ocean is sparkling. Surprising amount of customers and sales. Long day for me.
cc squirt bottle sounds like a good pla. Some dogs like the water but they won't if there is a tiny bit of vinegar in it. Used to do this for the dog obedience class barkers. Hmmm maybe it would work on people...
still thinking of counter tops. Just thinking.
peps hope you continue to win big.
no clue on food. Story of my life
