Once I'm done with the Wegovy, I am really, really thinking about a Panniculectomy. I am so weary of trying to dress around my left over skin. It sort of aligns with my good enough theory. I can't afford a full body lift or probably even a tummy tuck, and I'm also not a fan of the amount of pain and recovery time needed. If I were younger, could be worth trying to pursue more extensive plastic surgery, but I just don't see it now. But a panniculectomy would be a good bang for the buck. So still simmering around in my mind. I haven't said anything to DH yet, so still in the early stages of thinking about it.
Is it really much less expensive than a tummy tuck or is it because insurance might cover it? I had a tummy tuck in 2017 - I went to a PS just to find out what the cost would be and was surprised that I could afford it.
BTW did you lose hair after VSG too? I know a lot of people do with any significant weight loss.

My plastic surgery was so traumatic, I still get panicky when I think about it. Especially with the PE. I wish I had done less and only proceeded if it was successful. A panniculectomy sounds like a good plan and would make a big difference in how clothes fit, but not too much to handle recovery-wise.
Greetings
It is also pouring here and has been since the middle of the night. Coming down in buckets and will continue for the day. No going out anywhere. It's just too messy. There is some flooding (which there aways is in winter rains). Low spots in pastures, around the rivers, King tides in certain low spots. But we are warm and fine though Tesla is worried about the wind.
DD my older brother had the "panni" surgery. I think it went well for him though I remember him walking around with a little drain. VSG worked really well for him as did the panni though some years later he got a brain tumor and eventually died from it. Still I am glad I told him about the surgery and that he did it. He had years of living at a normal weight after a lifetime of obesity. He really came out of his shell and became much more social and content. Used to be that he would never look at the waiter when ordering in a restaurant. That changed after VSG loss. So yeah, look into the panni. (autocorrect panini) LOL.. I wish my DH would do that. He has a large "dunlap" and I think he would feel better without it. Many years ago I had liposuction on my thighs and gut and never regretted it.
Peps enjoy the show and hope Molly wins. Lovely image of you two in the GOAT with coffee and calm.
CC sorry Kirby kept you up all night. Hope you can nap and that he will nap too. Seems like pups go through a sensitive gut phase. Raising a pup is a full time job. Love the stories and pictures.
Gotta read about the drug lawsuits. Don't know about that. I need to find stuff about the wl drugs and how they work. I see all the tv ads for ro. whatever and am not sure what thats about.
DH is still messing with tv stuff though now it's taking some conduit off the wall for which he has about 25 tools. Also other electronic issues with our call control device which lets no calls through unless they are in our contact list.
With the tv working we were able to continue Fargo last night. Good but dark and weird.
No clue about dinner tonigh. I made microwave soufflé this morning which really hit the spot.
Liz the remodeled beach club looks great. What a wonderful hang out.

ps. Our area is all a twitter because a movie with Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn is being shot here. There are advertisements for extras. Not sure of the nature of the movie but lots of movies have done filming here due to the redwoods and victorian houses. Jurassic parkII, one of the Star Wars and others were part filmed here. It's a bunch of money for the local economy. So everyone is playing "Where's Leo..."
Amazing what the will to live (or not) can accomplish. Wonderful that he was able to know his grandson and be remembered.
