After a rainy start to the day, it cleared up in the late afternoon yesterday and was actually quite pleasant and tropically warm. There was a fantastic dolphin show in front of the condo where 3 dolphins seemed to be playing. Really amazing! This morning multiple pelicans are repeatedly diving for fish - a constant splashing. Kind of neat to listen to.
I guess the snow in the northeast hasn't been quite as bad as expected. DD is currently on the way to today's Patriots football game and says the roads are all clear. DH called from Albany and said there were only a few inches of snow there and not snowing much this morning. It looks like the airport there is doing okay so his DD will likely get out for her business trip.
Justice and I will just hang out here most of the day other than our usual walk (I do vary the path when DH doesn't walk with us though). I think I have to go to the food store to supplement my provisions as I will run out of leftovers today and don't think I have any veggies to go with them.
Have a surprising Sunday!
DD's flight back to Boston also had no weather delays, and she is back at her apartment, taking a nap. She was on Sun Country. They sent a waiver to everyone last night, saying they could rebook their Boston flight due to weather with no fees. Except the next flight to Boston from Minneapolis on this airline is April 4. Not too helpful, but all is well.
We enjoyed our night out and were home by 9pm. Live music always satisfies something in my soul.
Yesterday I watched May December on Netflix. Another well done but dark movie. I think I need to find some delightful comedy to cleanse my palate after this run of twisted stories and psychopathic characters.
This evening we are going to an early dinner with high school friends. Then back to work tomorrow. It's going to be an interesting week. One item, a meeting with a very contentious family. Supervisors already told me it will go 2 hours beyond my normal hours. They will pay me extra to attend.
At this point in life I have a hard time with dark psychopathic movies. Give me a good Rom Com or a simple who-done-it.

I have really enjoyed Fisk on Netflix. It's an Australian comedy series that feels a little bit like the Office. The main character is Helen Tudor Fisk (like tuna fish) who is a lawyer specializing in wills and probate because because the clients are dead she won't have to deal with people.
I like Fisk too. She strikes me as an honest but certainly not flashy lawyer. You really have to enjoy her quirkiness.
greetings all
Sun has been out which makes the chill ok. I left the house with DH on the phone to the cable company due to issues setting up the TiVo. Totally ridiculous conversations with someone overseas who could do nothing but waste time. I went to the studio to baby sit my studio buddy who things I have to be there when she is there. Place was packed. There is a new show of cool stuff.
So back home and the Tivo problem is not solved and technician will be here Tuesday. Hopefully I can arrange to be elsewhere.
Liz dolphins at play! How fun!Better than a tv show Glad the snow storm is not too terrible where your family is. Good on Mike for helping out.
DD I hear you on being burnt out on weird psycho shows. I have yet to see that Everywhere Everything movie and probably never will . Ordinary mysteries and cop shows are good but as soon as shows start having time travel and aliens I am done. Love stuff like Only Murders in the Building but we have already burned through them all. And CC we have watched Fisk though I don't think DH likes it.
Not much thinking on the weight loss front (or on anything else for that matter). Just ate some tuna salad and dinner will be more of the deli enchiladas. I am so looking forward to longer days. And I am eyeing the kitchen counters with new ones in mind. Quartz is the cool thing but not sure I want that and I don't want granite either. We shall see..

Support by phone is so frustrating - like jumping through hoops to get them to agree to come do it in person.
