2023 is going out with a crash. Things were going really well until they werent. short version. friday i fainted in the livingroom. crashed down onto right side of body. black eye, chipped tooth fat lip and broke my humerous. ambulance ride and follow ups with pcp and ortho. in sling. sadie brought me my phone. it wasnt a hip and i can pee.

Age: 64; 5' 5"; High weight: 345; Start weight: 271 (01/05/15); Surgery weight: 218 (05/27/15); Pre-Op (-53); M 1 (-18); M 2 (-1.5); M 3 (-13.5 ); M 4 (-13); M 5 (- 8); M 6 (-12) M 7 (-5, Xmas); M 8 (- 9) Under surgeon's goal and REACHED HEALTHY BMI 12/07/15!! (Six months and one week.) AT GOAL month 8. Maintaining at goal range (139- 144) ~ four (4) years !!

Oh, so sorry!!!! Hope you have an answer as to why you fainted. Better a broken arm than a broken hip, that's for sure! Sadie is a GOOD DOG!

Oh no - I hope the break isn't on your dominant arm! Heal well (and as Peps suggested best to find out why you fainted in the first place to not have it happen again).

Yikes Ocean Diane! Fainting and injuries! Not a way to start the year. Good for Sadie. Hope they can find out why you fainted and fix that. Please stay safe and heal and stay in touch. xxxx DianeS
