Time change tonight. I hate having to adjust mealtimes and sleep times for Justice and us but more light in the morning is a plus.

DH is still quite sore which is limiting his ability to take a walk or much else. Hopefully that will start to subside now that he is 2 days out. He took a four hour nap yesterday! I used the time to finish painting a chest and paint my toenails. Both needed it.

We had the reduced calorie chicken and broccoli casserole for leftover last night. Pretty good though I will reduce the flour next time. I did find the original recipe and there was no correction but I don't think it needed to have as much (the sauce was very thick). No leftovers for tonight so I may need to cook again if DH still isn't up to going out.

The timing for DH's being laid up wasn't bad in terms of the boat club. There have been small craft warnings all week continuing at least through tomorrow so we wouldn't have been able to take out a boat anyway. One advantage of the wind is that it has cooled the temperature and humidity way down so I was able to have windows and doors open all day yesterday. I much prefer moving air to AC.

Today I will finish waxing the chest, possibly work on another diy project, and maybe cook again (). Have a safe Saturday!

No time change here! My worries about my friend's visit were unfounded. It's been lovely to see her. I did seriously struggle with finding clothes for tonight's dinner. Argh. I REALLY need to get some weight off. This is way too much.

The smoke, however, has been awful. I understand why they do it, but I'm tired of it!

Today we went to the V Bar V petroglyphs. Very cool!
