Busy day coming up. DH has golfing during which Justice and I will take our walk, get cleaned up, then run some errands.

We are meeting the realtor at 2 to talk about staging the house. She wants some furniture and personal items removed. And we are just doing this now??? If only we could go back and make some changes we don't have time to do now.

Tonight is a "date night". Dinner out (gift certificate from DH's daughter), then our first show of the season - Million Dollar Quartet. Should be fun.

Have a wondering Wednesday!

Sorry to have been in absentia. Dog show weekend and then work got the best of me. I am currently sitting at a table covered with muffins, cookies, donuts, bagels, and pumpkin pies. Oh, yes.... there is a bag of granny smith apples, too. LOL!

I am struggling to get those few extra pounds off. Food season has arrived early this year. Also, a woman of a certain age (one who incidentally is NOT one that I have groomed) presented me with a platter of home baked chocolate chip cookies yesterday. God love her, but damn... Not what I need.

I am trying a new snore "guard". It's my last ditch before getting another sleep study. Apparently, according to Ron, I have not snored since I started wearing it. However, I'm not used to it and it seems to be interfering with my sleep. But that could be in my head. It could simply be that I'm more aware of the number of times I awaken due to the fact that I am so aware of the snore guard. Either way, I'm tired today. I like the idea of the snore guard more than a cpap machine, so fingers crossed it continues to work.

Sadly, not much else to report. Dogs are all fine... Puppies due in 10 days.

I can't imagine having all those treats around me and not partaking in some.

Puppies!

Greetings all

The day started gloomy but now the sun is out full force. Yay. I went up to the art gallery and took some new work and did my chores with money and mail. Power company has notified us of a planned outage in november. Big deal. Then I went to the studio and made a few things. Topped off the day with a covid shot. The new little pharmacy is humming. I think they are really hurting the horrid CVS. Good service - what a concept. We got the Moderna shot so we shall see if we feel crappy later.

Well Liz, gl with the realtor thing. Seems like sometimes a place sits and then there is a flurry of activity. Realtors always say paint everything beige and move out half your stuff. Easy for them to say. Hope it works out. Enjoy the dinner out.

Peps jeez, all those sweets! Once when I was in high school I had a job for two days assisting a judge for the 4H baked desserts at the state fair. There were over 200 entries. I mostly unwrapped and wrapped them but I was permitted to taste so of course I did. By end of day two I was sick. So imagining that gigantic table of baked desserts in the old 4H hall in the heat, complete with flies, is an image that helps me avoid desserts sometimes. Chocolate chip cookies are another matter.

Looking forward to puppies!

Not much else. Board meeting tomorrow with new member. We actually have a bit of business to conduct.

Thanks for the reminder that we need COVID and Flu shots! I should get them scheduled.

The realtor did have us remove about half he furniture! I think it looks a bit empty but who knows? Habitat for Humanity is going to do a pickup in a couple of weeks and we may offer some of it to staff here if they are interested. I might keep one small chest and paint it.

Late night post! I did my 12 hour day, had some productive conferences and went out for bourbon and cigars. Time for bed, see you all tomorrow :)

Bourbon and cigars? That could take the edge off of the conferences.
