It was crowded at the Beach Club yesterday! The other times we have gone since we got back there would be us and at most 5-6 other groups. A lot of families seemed to be present so maybe they have that Fall Break?

After the beach club we went to the clubhouse to watch the Patriots game. Very sad to watch them play this year. There was a large group of people watching the Eagles game who were disappointed in the outcome but it seemed like a better game than ours.

This morning it is cooler outside than in with no humidity! What a quick shift from last week when it was stifling. I love the fall weather in Florida once the humidity lowers.

We are going to sign up for the Boat Club today. I have set up an account to take the necessary online class to obtain a Florida Boaters License. Once we have that we will have in-person, on-boat classes. This afternoon DH is playing 9 holes of golf as a practice prior to his association game on Wednesday. I'll be his golf cart driver LOL. Until my shoulder issues are resolved, I am not doing anything that strains my right shoulder. I am still in fear of the pain I had the last time after the injection wore off though it hasn't yet.

That's the day! Keeping busy keeps us from snacking so that is a good thing. Have a munificent Monday!

(psst, it's Monday )

I did very little yesterday after my beeping fiasco. So glad that's sorted out. I think my new potential outfits come today, so anything and everything is crossed that I fit into something! Honestly, I don't even know what sizes I wear, not that sizing means much these days for women's clothes, so it's all a crapshoot.

It's a hot week ahead with temps 12-14 degrees about normal. Then down into the 60s next week. Can't wait!

I have little food in the house, which is probably for the best as I can't be trusted... I need to get out and walk before it gets too hot.

Take care all! Happy boating Liz!

Good luck - I hope something works well for you! I tried the dress on today for the wedding we are attending this weekend with the undergarments I planned to wear and they won't work! The bra straps show too much and my strapless bras look too lumpy in the back. So strapless shapewear shopping is in the plan for my week.

Yeah, sizing is crazy. I just ordered a jacket but have no idea if I chose the right size.

Upper 70s today, but a warm up is coming. Forecast high on Thursday is 94 degrees. Talk about Indian Summer.... That temp feels like regular summer! But again, not terribly unusual for this area lately. I don't remember it being this warm as a kid in October, but it wasn't cold either. I don't think we even really wore "winter" coats until December/January here.

Back to my red line weight today. Took almost a week to lose 3 pounds of water weight, but at least it was painless. Now to keep it going until I'm down another 2 back in the 'safety zone'. LOL

I have been researching Ohio. Some nice plusses there for retirement, but also some very big drawbacks for me. The more I research, the more I think I will likely stay put. (Well, can't go anywhere as long as my dad is living anyhow! That would just not be right!)

I was all set to press send on my taxes last night, but lacked info from one form. I was unable to retrieve the info online because my login kept coming back as "contact support". I did this morning. So nice of the CU to change my user name when they merged with another CU. UGH.... Thank goodness my account number was the same, but boy my info was all mucked up. Primary email was work email.... Text number was my landline.... UGH!!!!!! I suppose the 3% interest rate on my mortgage makes it all worth it though, right????

I would like to have a munificent Monday, but who, who will be my benefactor????? Or are you inferring that we should all be munificent and lavish others with our generosity???? I'm feeling very Veruca Salt today, so I prefer the former!

Nice interest rate!

It is high 60's and windy here right now - it feels cold after the super hot last 3 weeks here.

Greetings all

It was dry here this morning but raining by the time I got to Arcata. Went to the eye doctor for my purple eye lid. Just a bruise. Nothing more. No infection or eye injury.. Yay. Then it was on to collect and sign payroll for the studio and deliver it. Reviewed the quarterly withholding forms for our new co director. Prepared by an accountant so it was unlikely I would find any errors but I do what I am told ****asionally). Did some glazing. Boy was the place busy. Picked up my newly fired art work to take to the gallery.

Speaking of gallery, we are in a 100 year old little house and the septic is failing. So it's likely gonna be beaucoup bucks to fix it. Under our lease it's the landlord's responsibility but in a small town with a non profit as the landlord it will not be that simple. I am expecting them to raise our rent which is ok. Our gallery is an asset to the town but we have always had the concern the non profit will want to sell our building and put the money into other stuff like trail easements. Thats their main purpose. Hoping we have enough town goodwill to avoid that. Maybe I am worried about nothing. Its what I do.

Liz take it easy on the shoulder by all means. No golf. No gymnastics. No bowling. Hope you find good shareware. And boat club sounds good with the licensing and training. Years ago we would sail at summer camp and we had to learn the rules of which sail boat has the right of way and all the other boating customs. Will they teach you knot tying? That was a big deal for us. Fun.

CC I hope the outfits work. I recall that feeling of worrying about what to wear and not finding good options. Good thing I live in a place where everyone dresses like a slob. Glad you can visit with your hilarious friend. A necessity!

Not much else. Last night was deli roast beef and a half ear of corn. A good dinner. Will be repeated tonight.

Peps you have a good interest rate. But that does not entitle the credit union to mess with you. Jeepers they just changed your name!!! How rude. Hope the taxes are done now. We just got an unexpected check from the IRS and an explanatory letter that was nonsensical. Oh well, we accept all checks that the government wants to send. And yeah there are lots of beautiful places in the middle part of the country. But ok to stay put too.

I survived conferences. I am tired of myself and my level of irritability. DH and I pinky swore we will resume workouts when I get home Wednesday. I think that will help a lot.

DD arrives Friday morning. Something wonderful to look forward to.
