We successfully got the "kids" to Orlando yesterday stopping along the way to watch part of the Patriots game and see them get slaughtered. I think we should adjust to being Miami Dolphins fans this year.

It has been one month since my last corticosteroid injection in my shoulder and I am starting to feel twinges. That's what happened last time and I was in terrible pain from about the point of month 2 until I got the next one in month 3. I am really fearful of it being the same way again, but maybe it won't be so bad since I am not in physical therapy which possibly aggravated it last time. I see the surgeon at about the 3 month mark which is when I would be eligible for another injection but if he recommends surgery I won't be able to have one. Not looking forward to all this but right now I am enjoying the ability to have a mostly pain free arm

Time to go walk Justice and work on the laundry for the day. Have a marvelous Monday!

Hello from Allentown, PA. I have a late check out and don't fly home until 7 pm. Gonna be a short night. Luckily, my Tuesdays are a nice teaching day.

I felt a bit like a kid with post Christmas let down yesterday. Funny, I enjoyed my judging assignment, but was not prepared for one class. I had four girls who were all really quite mediocre. I dallied and was indecisive. A learning experience for sure. Anyhow, among the entries I did have a stellar puppy girl and a very nice Jr. dog. I awarded them accordingly. I'm not sure why I felt down afterwards, but I did. But having dinner with friends was uplifting and turned my mood around.

My new suit was a hit. Funny how ladies of a certain age really appreciate a man in a nice suit. I wore a "fun" tie designed by the late Jerry Garcia. It added a little bit of fun and lightheartedness to the look.

I decided to not wear compression socks for the flight here and regret it. I swelled up to true "cankle" level. Sad.... Has taken me days to get rid of the excess and now I will spend 6.5 hours on the flight home swelling right back up. DRAT!

I have decided I need to cut back a bit on the sugar. Not sure if I want to wean off or go cold turkey. Pros and cons to both approaches.

Happy Monday, folks!

I bet you did look very handsome!

I guess it would have been more fun having some more healthy competition to judge

I threw out some junk food as it's trash day. I feel like yes, wasteful, but a win nevertheless.

Another weird night's sleep. Can't catch a break! Coyotes, spider worry, short hair worry, weight worry for the wedding. Finally put on an audiobook to drown out the mental noise.

The sunset was beautiful last night. Nearly makes up for the critters.

I think that's all that's running through my brain. Yes, Peps, we like men in suits for some reason! Travel safe. Liz, home you get more time out of your shot!

Do you think doing something curly with your hair would help for the wedding? I think sometimes it spices up shorter hair.

it's a win when we have the strength to throw out junk food. But the other side always seems to think that's wasteful!

Greetings all

Oops missed yesterday. No excuses. Not sure what I was doing other than trying to cook chicken and do banking.

Gallery duty today. It's raining but there actually were some customers. Interesting people; some from Switzerland *****cognized my name as Swiss. And a friend stopped by to visit. She had heard that DH went to the ER but it's like that game of "Telephone" we played as kids where a story gets repeated and distorted. She thought DH had a pacemaker implanted! Go figure.

EEEEWWWWW CC giant spiders!! Are there some kind of traps for those? Our main pest here is itty bitty ants but we have a service to get rid of them. I hope those spiders don't feel too comfy. And I bet your hair is cute and will be fine for the wedding event. Noisy coyotes! That seems cool until they keep you awake. Good for you for tossing junk food. Better in the land fill than on your azz.

Liz sorry the shoulder is fussing. Please let it rest. Hope relief comes.

Yes Peps, we old ladies love a man in a well cut suit. Bet you looked great. Share pic. Maybe it's because women of my age have seen so many men going around in pajama pants and ill fitting jeans. Were the mediocre girls in the open class? Maybe you felt a let down because it's just plain hard work to be on your feet looking at dogs, trying to be fair but wanting to redo the grooming on some! Hope you get home without too much swelling.

Not much else. I made enough of the chicken stir fry for tonight so it's a no cook day. So my culinary skills will go towards preparing dog dinners. They get meat off the chicken legs I bought for myself but did not eat. Lucky dogs

I had a long day. (But probably not as long as Peps). I left home at 7:30am, and returned at 8:35pm. I drove the hour there and back to get my hair done by my niece. Color is awesome, but the opposite of CC, I'm not sure it's short enough. Overall length is fine, but I need shorter layers or my fine textured hair collapses. We'll see.

Showered and jammied, and off to bed. Hope everyone has a great night's sleep and an awesome start to Tuesday when it rolls around.
