Yesterday was a LONG day. We did the Hop On/Hop Off Trolley for 1/2 day, then went from one venue to another listening to music and grabbing some totally mediocre food along the way. So I didn't eat a lot because it wasn't worth it. We ended up going to the same restaurant for dinner that we visited the first night: it is on a side street and is only a restaurant (not a music venue). So the food was a bit of a step up. But still like "pub-grub". The restaurants in this area are pretty much this type or very expensive steak houses. Not much in-between.

We did poke around looking at boots yesterday LOL. They have some pretty nice ones ranging from about $250-$350. Somehow I don't think they would fit in on Cape Cod or in Florida though...

The plan today is to do 2 museums but split them with lunch in between. We may just go to the rooftop pool in the late afternoon. Then decide on dinner/early evening pursuits. The loudness in the bars where the music is played gets to be a bit much after a while.

We leave from the hotel around 7:15 am tomorrow. At least we will beat the rain/wind from Hurricane Lee potentially affecting New England on Saturday.

Have a winning Wednesday!

GM All, on the train and heading to work. Last day in the office for the week as I will work from home tommorrow. Looking forward to the weekend- hair apt then we are having a family dinner to celebrate our September Birthdays. Weather is going to lovely so we will do a BBQ.

Not a lot else to report. Still very busy & trying to learn my new role in a crazy busy environment. Reminding myself that change is good - right?!?

Hope you all have a great afternoon/evening

Yes! Change is good and you will do great once you get the training under your belt and adapt to your new schedule!

Good to know about the food in Nashville. I think I'm more interested in the music part of it.

Shirl, glad you have some flexibility. Great not to have that commute back from the office on Friday, eating into your weekend.

I had my dungeons & dragons group today after school. I love seeing some of the kids who don't interact a lot during the school day, laughing and telling jokes (jokes that I don't understand, since I don't play) and having a good time. Best part of my week.

DH and I went to Panera for dinner, I ordered a bowl of squash soup and baguette as my side. I ate a few bites of the baguette, and less than half the soup. When my sleeve was new, I used to hiccup when I was full. Now I'm sneezing. Multiple sneezes, big ones. I'm assuming something with the vagal nerve. I do remember some people saying their nose would run when they were full. Its a weird journey.

Greetings all

Sunny here and now but just awhile ago I drove up to Trinidad to the gallery and it was fogged in. There were some gallery visitors from Israel. I feel bad that the place was foggy because they missed the spectacular ocean views from the cliffs. The woman was interested in the intense colors of the hydrangea and other flowers. Acidic soil.

Liz Nashville sounds fun. Never occurred to me there were multiple museums but of course. Live music and pub food sounds fun too.

DD your D and D kids sound fun. At the studio we have some kids classes and it's a hoot to sit in the next room and listen to them chatter.

Met with the accountant today on the gallery tax return issue. Seems like we went over and over this stuff. All i did was mark one item on the wrong line. Big fuss over a non issue. Anyway I think it is done. After that a shopping trip for pet food and other errands. When I got home I ate a cold chicken leg as part of my new protein forward snack plan. Just the right amount of food.

Shirley hope the new work is going well. Glad you can do some at home. Not commuting is a major perk. Enjoy the birthday parties!!

Not much else. Dogs wonder why I am not sharing my chicken drumstick. Too bad.
