Beautiful day here like yesterday. The humidity is so low that it suddenly feels like Fall - low 70's and breezy.
We had a nice day with DH's friends though they didn't stay over as we thought they would. Communication confusion between the guys. The wife and I decided we would double-check on these arrangements in the future.
Not sure what today will bring other than getting settled here (again). I am starting to hate moving back and forth between houses. We need to go out to the food store at some point. I left the dog kibble on the kitchen floor in my home yesterday so we had to make a special stop yesterday to get some so Justice could have his dinner.
I heard back from my PCP yesterday and he suggested going ahead and taking the anti-inflammatory and monitoring my BP. If it rises, then reevaluate.
Not much else going on here. Have a winsome Wednesday!

We're just outside the "dome". Green Bay, WI (85 miles west) is going to be 95 today, and we'll be 80. But it's eerily cloudy and windy. We've been blanketed by so much smoke this summer from Canada. Makes for beautiful sunsets, but gloomy other days. At least we can't smell it.
Stay cool!!
Greetings all
Sun is out big time here today but it's cool and nice. House got cleaned this morning. The new floor takes longer than carpet because it needs both vacuuming and damp mop. Oh well. Glad I am not doing it.
Stopped at the studio today and glazed a little. Board meeting tomorrow so I decided to print out financials in the office. Only had to get two people to help me. I hate microsoft and the giant clunky mouse that we have. I can barely put my hand around it. Much prefer my sleek magic mouse. I also did some gallery banking.
Gosh 104 degrees DD!!! Thats so awful. Not sure where you are going but away from the heat is good. I heard a depressing story on NPR about how coral is dying due to gulf waters being 100 degrees. Hard to imagine ocean that warm Stay cool wherever you do.
CC glad you are not in the center of the heat dome. Pity anyone who is. Concerned about Peps and his dog in 100 degree Minneapolis.
Liz hope the antiinflamatory meds help. I did not realize the issue with bp but it makes sense. Be safe.
I bought a bit of fillet mignon for dinner. Having a small tummy makes a steak dinner much cheaper. (x two in our house). I will cook mushrooms to accompany.
We watched an episode of The Invasion last night. Ho hum, more creepy aliens and fighting. Good thing there was only one episode. New entertainment needed.
We are in Southern Missouri! Just went for a walk around the town square of Neosho. The sun had set, so I told DH, its not going to get any cooler than this. If we want to look at the square, this is as cool as its going to get!
I swam in the Gulf of Mexico a little more than a week ago. It was stunningly warm, actually ho****er. Easily 98-101 degrees. It felt like my hot tub before it hits 102. Shocking and scary!
When we were in Florida a month ago the Atlantic was as warm as the Gulf in prior years. I can't image what the Gulf would feel like!
I always feel like solid floors end up cleaner than carpets (especially with pets living in the home).

Wishing cool thoughts for DD, Peps, and Buster!
The weather could not have been weirder today. Super foggy/dark and 80 and humidity in the 90%'s. But no rain. Eerie is the word we all kept saying. More of the same tomorrow.
I filled out a puppy application! A woman I follow on instagram lost her beautiful golden to hemangiosarcoma and just got a new golden puppy from a breeder in Indiana. She tagged the breeder and after a week of looking at their dogs, reading about their health testing, they posted they have another boy from the same litter available. I filled out an application. I may not get a puppy from this litter, but my goodness their dogs are gorgeous. Really blocky heads, true gold, squishy faces ... If it's meant to be, it'll be and if not, it was meant for another time.
Today I went through all the fabric samples and sent approvals to the designer. Gulp! All pretty stuff, though. And though pricy, it'll be done right!
I think that's all I know. Food was better today, mostly because I don't have any in my house.
Take care all!
Ooohhh - a new puppy! So exciting! I have my fingers and toes crossed. If not this one, then I am sure another great pup will turn up.
