The month is marching along. Today is a sunny, windy day. I'd like to get some sun on my back like CC, but not sure I want the discomfort of it. We shall see.

I am still trying to eat wisely and mindfully. Not sure I am losing any more weight but I feel more controlled.

So we have a very small jewelry establishment here on Cape Cod that sells specially designed bracelets etc. by appointment only. You have to follow similar protocol to getting early Covid vaccine appointments. Go to the appointment page and refre**** frequently hoping that you will grab an appointment in the first 5-10 minutes after they are made available once a week. Oh and they don't tell you what time they start to be available! It is usually between 7-8, so one could be refreshing the page for an hour before they are even there. How insane! They supposedly have a new design that I am interested in but there is only a one 4 day period left when they are open until next summer, since they only open from June to September. Crazy! We may ask DH's daughter to buy one for me and reimburse her as she secured an appointment for next week. Oh and btw you can't see any pictures of it in advance - it is secret. If I don't like it I can sell it on Poshmark for about twice what I pay so it might be worth doing.

Time to Justice walk - he is staring at us. Have a fine Friday!

Liz, the bracelet "adventure" sounds interesting. Such an interesting way to run a shop! Funny that there is no photo, but maybe that's part of the anticipatory hype.

If I don't get a decent night sleep soon, I'm going to lose my cookies! I am having trouble both falling asleep and staying asleep. Plagued with odd dreams, too. UGH!

My water weight is not coming off... DRAT! Yesterday my ankles and feet were still swollen (just a tad...), but I think the lack of decent sleep is part of the problem.

I think I am having my annual "summer is over and I have to go back to school" doldrums. I am having some trouble getting motivated to do things around the house, working on the dogs, getting shopping done so that I have better food choices at home, etc....

Got the RV in for a few fixes. Little things - not earth shattering stuff. That is one issue with having an RV - there is always a little something that seems to need fixing. Luckily, the extended warranty is still in effect, so I'm hoping that will cover whatever needs fixing on the awning.

Today i am taking dad to Physical Therapy and then will get myself motivated (hehehehe) to get a few things done around here.

Hoping for a Fruitful Friday!

Lack of sleep can definitely exacerbate water retention.

The bracelet shop doesn't show pictures because their jewelry designs get copied all the time. The original Cape Cod bracelet was one of their first and every major Cape Cod jeweler has them now:

Greetings all

Early for me to check in. We just went to lunch with friends at the chinese buffet. Thanks to sleeve I did not eat tons. Amazing to see how much other people pile on there. Then a quick grocery stop to get the stuff I forgot yesterday. Mainly some cheese sticks to take to gallery duty tomorrow which is all day and not just my usual half day. Yuck. But it has been busy up there and that bodes well for the day. We quit taking the paper newspaper so I will have to find a cross word elsewhere.

Liz the bracelet thing is intriguing. Sounds fun. An interesting marketing ploy.

Fog is out today so I have a hoodie with my t shirt. No chance of tanning anywhere around here - not that I would try. Must continue the slow process of returning the house to its previous state of chaos. It's actually nice right now to have a few empty spaces on shelves but it won't last.

Sleep Peps! I think losing sleep is related to weight gain. Not sure why I think that - maybe because I am not a good sleeper. GL with all the Goat repairs. It's almost worse than a house because I house does not have an engine to move it around.

Loads of laundry to be done. Every cloth item in this house seems to need it. All the throws over our sofa are the color of the dirt in the back yard. Poppy is quite the digger.

I did get some vegetables for dinner tonight. Asparagus which is expensive enough to motivate me to cook it. Remember when chicken used to be cheap? Not anymore.

Not much else. Time to attack the laundry.

Nothing seems cheap anymore unless there is a fantastic sale.

We went for a late lunch/early dinner. I am so full! Not my best food day ever. A good bit of rain today. It was nice. Working on a puzzle. That is about me in a nutshell...

Oh, and my house watcher texted that the landscape water leak is not fixed and my water usage is sky high. She shut off the landscape water and contacted my landscaper and he was sending someone out asap. Sigh. It's always something. But I am SOOO glad to have her!!

Lordy, I've been tired lately. Not sure why, but I feel like I could use a nap not long after I get up and can't wait to go to bed. Weird.

Anyway, hope you all are well! Great floors, DianeS!

Yep, homeownership can be stressful!
