We fly out of Orlando today at 5. Pray that there aren't a lot of violent thunderstorms to delay us. But it is nice to have most of the day ****il 2) to button up and pack.

I hadn't mentioned that the shoulder pain has returned. I had the cortisone injection exactly 2 months ago and a deep ache has returned making it difficult to raise my arm up or forward (as it was previously). I have been doing my at-home PT exercises religiously which will hopefully maintain my recovered range of motion and strength but the deep ache makes it difficult. The orthopedist said to return if/when it got uncomfortable again. I'm going to give it 2+ weeks but unless this resolves (which I am not hopeful about), I will have to see him within a month. I was so spoiled by that 1st month of no pain at all. It had been so many years since it felt that way. I think the orthopedist expected this as I have quite severe arthritis. But I would really like to delay having a joint replacement as long as possible.

Anyway, time to get laundry in and take a walk. Have a satisfying Saturday!

My cousin and husband are gone. I love them, they are so much fun, but I am happy to have my house back and be in the quiet alone. We ate way too much, dessert every night as we are in cherry and blueberry country, so lots of pies. Dinners were healthy, but snacking was heavy.

So just lazily drinking my coffee, catching up on my word games and news, and watching hummingbird feeder battles. My cousin introduced me to Octordle. I already do Wordle and Quordle so one more is on the pile! I got Wordle in 2 guesses twice this week!

No plans to day except laundry of sheets and towels.

So sorry about the shoulder, Liz, that sounds miserable! Shirl, are you done with your last job now? Or still have more of the discomfort of your soon to be ex boss to go? DianeS, hope you're loving the look of the floors! DD, enjoy Mexico! Peps, kudos on your progress with eating choices!!

It is nice to be alone and have your own schedule isn't it? My DIL is also a Wordle whiz.

Greetings all

Cool overcast day. I spent some time in the studio with studio buddy solving all the problems of the world. Made some new art. Minimal progress on getting the house back together.

We are loving the floor. Some adjustments like my desk chair rolls around more and I think the dogs like the cool surface..

Liz sorry your shoulder is still acting up. Not sure how often they can do cortisone. I had it in my thumb joint but it was at least 6 months apart. Please baby that shoulder.

I bought stuff to make a healthy stir fry tonight. I faced the fact today that a lot of my aches and pains are due to excess weight and thats going to continue until I fix it. So I skipped the english muffin at breakfast and had avocado and cottage cheese. This in part stems from doctor appointment next week during which I will be weighed. The old childhood shame and fear of being weighed and judged. My doctor is pretty kind but speaks the truth. Hope I can make some small changes.

CC glad you had a fun visit with family. A "no plans" day is my favorite. Two appointments next week and I am stressing already. And DD have fun.

Stay well and cool all. Diane S
