Welcome to Wednesday! Our dinner dance last night was a lot of fun - lots of dancing and too much food (I could only eat about 1/4 or less). We saw people we knew and some new ones including a neighbor in the building next door.

This morning we have a guy coming to uninstall the old TV and put our newer one up with a better bracket. The old one which stopped working the other day is working again of course. But this isn't the first time we had problems with it even though we have only been here for about 2 weeks. It is an old clunky thing too, so probably best to send it away.

Possibly more beach today as it was the only place to be outside and cool yesterday.

I hope DD has a safe trip to Mexico!

Checking in quickly! My cousin and his partner are here and we're having fun. Weather is lovely. I've been keeping up on you all, but haven't had time to post.

The tv is hung! Looks great. Board lady still driving me insane and hasn't quit yet sadly.

Off to sit in my deck chair to catch my breath and gear up for going out to dinner.

day 3 of floor central. They showed up quite early today so we had to quickly evacuate the dogs. They are back in now and totally pooped from running and barking all day.

I did get out today and picked up stuff at the studio and took it to the gallery where business is great. So I was only holed up in the bedroom for part of the day, though current events are quite entertaining. Then I picked up mail and there was a notice that the gallery ach transfer to pay sales tax was dishonored by the bank. Wtf? Went to the bank. No answer yet.

the floor looks fabulous- better than I thought. Not quite finished so more tomorrow. The crew is great.

We were chatting with a couple last night who just spent a month living in their spare bedroom and eating out nightly because the master bath, flooring and kitchen stuff was being redone. They said they were exhausted by it all (but thrilled to recently return to normal).

Checking in.... All day i felt it was Tuesday - even when I went to my usual Wednesday evening training session.... Go figure.... So, I was a tad miffed with myself when I realized tomorrow will be Thursday. Tomorrow will definitely ******rand day. I have an appt with the PS for a Daxxify injection and will follow that with getting to the post office and AAA to finally get the RV reregistered. Somewhere in the bowel of bureaucracy my insurance forms were noted, but my $14 fee was not. Rather than fight DMV, I paid it again (though honestly I couldn't find proof that I paid, so maybe I hadn't??? Perhaps Dad's dementia is catching! LOL) Also, will have to get some grooming done.

I saw on FB that Diamond Diane and her DH's seats were changed on their Delta flight to Mexico, but I'm not certain if it was a good or bad change! LOL! Hopefully, they have arrived safely and are enjoying an obligatory margarita by a pool!

Oh, today was not a great food day. I waited too long to eat and then what I ate was too carb heavy. That always sets me off. I have been snacky ALL.DAY.LOOOOONG! Boooooo! Dinner at least should be okay - chicken breast, pesto "rice" (made from lentil flour and chickpea flour) and salad.

Till tomorrow....

Snacking is my biggest downfall.
