Quick post as I need to finish packing to move out to DH's house for a few weeks and go to a notary with DD.

Yesterday was a long day (out of the house from 6am to 10:30 pm). A good day though: SIL is status quo with her cancer - it has been 3 months with no treatment but no change to any lesions. The wedding shower was really fun but with way too much food. Leftovers need to be packed today.

Time to get moving. Have a super Saturday!

Lowkey day yesterday. Hair appointment and the bank. And then one of the best night's sleep in ages! Part of it was good dreams. Mostly my dreams are weird and I find that annoying. Then woke up at 7:30 and felt like I'd been asleep for ages. Love that.

The tv is gone thank goodness.

I think I have found the furniture I want. It's Polywood, which is where I got the adirondack chairs for Sedona. This would be white and they make the dining chairs and loungers with navy blue mesh slings for the seats, so I think they would be comfortable and not require a lot of fiddling with cushions to keep them out of the rain like I have now. And it would blend with the two white Adirondacks I already have from LLBean out there. I just need to call the outdoor furniture store here who carries some Polywood and ask if there is any benefit to me buying it through them (price, delivery, assembly etc) versus online.

Time to go think about what's for dinner so I can shop...

Enjoy your days!

I take back everything I ever said about not minding heat and humidity. DD is at class. DH and I left her apartment at 8:30 am to walk to a coffee shop. I was full of hope and optimism then. That was before a walk to an arboretum then a walk in the arboretum, then a walk for lunch, then a walk home. OMG I thought I was going to die. I am a subdued and more humble version of who I used to be. I left everything I have out on those steaming concrete sidewalks. Somehow made it back, and I am now stretched out on the sofa, re examining my life.

Oh DD! So sorry it was so steamy! You have tasted what wimps like me feel in mild humidity...I think I would perish in humidity you think is too much!

PS - Arboretums are extra steamy on their own...

Interesting take on combining gastric bypass with Ozempic... https://nypost.com/2023/07/15/botched-doc-issues-ozempic-war ning-after-lisa-marie-presley-autopsy/

He doesn't specify gastric bypass, but I read that's what she had. I was thinking maybe it doesn't apply to us since lur small bowels weren't touched?

I wouldn't think it would apply when one's intestines are not subjected to surgery causing scarring.

Greetings all

i spent most time trying to organize money from the bank, picked up some groceries

Then it was discovered that Tesla barfed on one corner of the bed cover so it was off to the Laundrymatt since our washer is not big enough. clean now but a bit damp. Sun tomorrow will fully dry. Hope there is no more barf. Took 22 minutes to wash but way more to dry,

dinner was pizza .one modest slice but carbs were present.

not much else on this cruddy keyboard. More tomorrow. Dianes

Cleaning dog barf (or any for that matter) is not fun! Hopefully your bed cover drys in the air.
