Good morning ! I am waiting for the humidity to break before I use my carpet cleaner so that things will actually dry. These afternoon pop up storms and rip currents are making kayaking a challenge. My friend across the street used to run a B & B in Vermont and is a fabulous cook & baker. Her 75 year old husband has been under the weather and she'd been making pies, breads and meals to tempt him to eat (and gain weight). She's been sharing with me and I do not need to add weight. I have to graciously slow that train down !

Yeah, homemade pies and breads can be dangerous! The humidity here on the east coast has been pretty heavy this year all the way up to New England. We are also expected to have thunderstorms today.
So I found a trick to reducing appetite: get a cold that knocks out smell and taste. Only kidding and it only lasted for 1/2 day yesterday when my congestion was at its height. This morning my coffee was wonderful. Hopefully I am past the worst part though DH seems to be a bit behind me. I have PT later this morning and will likely wear a mask to protect them.
Not much else on the agenda for the day. I need to figure out something for dinner that will last for 2 meals. Not easy as DH eats so much more than I do (and so much more than deceased DH did) so planning is difficult for me.
Time to do my exercises. Have a meditative Monday!
