This morning is the first since we have been home with the furniture on the deck and it being dry enough to sit outside for our coffee. Nothing like listening to the birds sing while drinking coffee (and cuddling a 20 pound chihuahua in one's lap).

Quick post though as I want to get the flowers I bought yesterday into the pots on the deck before my PT appointment. This is appointment #4. I feel that after I am done with this series of 10 that I will be educated enough to continue on my own. I will just have to stress that I need to be left with a manageable set that I will be willing to continue on my own from then on.

Tonight we meet with DH's sisters for dinner off-Cape. That means contending with the people who work here during the day to get back over the bridge. All the PT people I have met live off-Cape because they don't like it here in the fall/winter/spring (they are all young). Reinforces my feeling that DS should live somewhere more populous year round.

Have a thriving Thursday!

Liz, I think DS is going to do what DS wants. He seems a little stubborn/unreceptive from your descriptions about making changes. Plus, he seems comfortable in your house. Clearly, he is not someone who craves the party/club scene of urban 30 something life.

Another beautiful clear sunny day here. It is a bit brisk in the shade with a nice breeze. This is perfect summer weather for me. Not too warm in the morning and then getting up into the upper 70s, low 80s by early afternoon.

I am off to Ferndale today (very close to McKinleyville where Diane S lives). I am not at all pleased by the weather forecast there! Foggy and mid 50s all weekend. Not my idea of summer. But, I hear it's a great little dog show. I have never been before. I am looking forward to it. I looked up past entries and I could not find an Airedale entry in the last 10 years. Suddenly, there are three entered this year. Go figure.

Food, eating, weight continue to be fine. Not stellar in the weight loss mode sense, but it's working for me.

I did a different kind of workout yesterday. Concentrated on back, chest and shoulders - sort of a push pull type of work out, BUT.... after every single set I did 10-12 squats. By the end of the workout I had done 250 squats!!! I felt accomplished, I did!

Must get on it! Have to get to the tailor and the cleaners, pack the rig and get out of here by 1 or 1:30.

That does sound like a perfect day - too bad Ferndale won't be as nice.

Yes, DS HATES change - always has even as a toddler. He dislikes my hair right now mainly because it is longer than he is used to (he only remembers it much shorter though it was longer a couple of times when he was young) - LOL

Greetings all

Yes it's overcast here. Sorry Peps, Cool and overcast is how things are here a lot. But the dogs love the coolness! No need to run the AC on the goat. I am thinking I will come down to the show Saturday so i can see the borders. Good luck for Friday and all.

Liz I guess some people don't do change well. Others are more flexible. You are right that it's just how they are. But jeez, hair do?

I stopped in the studio today and messed around. Mostly blabbed with others. Made a few things. My recently widowed friend stopped in so I could try to help her with some insurance stuff. We mostly talked about how we hate to dust.

We started watching "The Gilded Age" last night. Pretty good. I was willing to watch about anything that had no exploding aliens. But this is kind of fun. Looking forward to more.

Not much else. Corn on the cob tonight and some bacon. Not heathy. Not sorry. Diane S
