Greetings all
Sun -day is the operative word. Its wonderful here.. Sunny but not hot. Wind is up and the ocean is big. And dangerous. It's fun to go look at the giant waves but people get too close.
Today's activity was a visit to the hardware store and grocery. I need a special epoxy to glue my wine stoppers. They often don't have the one I like best and today was no exception. Got the second best. Then there must have been a run on avocados at the grocery as all they had were giant super hard ones. Got a cooked chicken breast to cook with some spinach. Also intended to get some boxes to start packing junk in but all they had was huge and tiny. No thanks.
Peps sorry your Dad had that episode. Hope he is better. My mom sometimes had anxiety attacks and she had a prescribed liquid medication to take orally which helped. But often crazy pat would not let her have it as she thought it was doping my mother. So I would calm my mother down by doing deep yoga breathing and putting her hands in the lotus position. That also worked. But I think of the times I was not there to do this. Maybe your dad could benefit from something like that. Lorazepam or something like that. Liquid because she had trouble with pills. Anyway I hope you do something low key and pleasant today.
Church. Not my favorite subject because I did not grow up with much of one and it always seemed like a punishment. But as I get older I have more appreciation of it. And yeah, old traditional church music is part of what I did not like. I might have liked church if there was old fashioned gospel. Once I saw the Oakland Gospel Choir with Terrence Kempf. That was some awesome rocking holy music.
One of the things I got at the hardware store was some large screws with o hooks on the end. Hope to screw them into the shed to hosist up the gigantic out of control climbing rose. But that involves getting DH to put the screws in so I am not holding my breath.
We watched "Parasite" last night. What a great movie. I had no idea where it was going so it was a treat. We are also hooked on Abbot Elementary.
Cheers. Diane S
