Last Day in May

Greetings all

Suns out and everybody is out running around it. At least most people thought the studio was pretty busy. Made a stop at CVS because they have my favorite coffee and no one else does nearby. What a horrible store that has become. Huge pharmacy line and huge check out line and not enough people. And few willing to attempt the ridiculous self check out system. Tried that once. No can do.

Liz traveling again already? You get around. If I were you I would stay planted in your new paradise.

CC glad you are getting a quiet moment. And yeah, worrying about carbs should not derail a social occasion.

Wouldn't it be cool if weight loss would totally follow chronologically from when some food was skipped. It drives everybody nuts how one can eat properly for a week and have no weight change. Wish there was a phone app that would say "don't weigh in until thursday due to metabolic variances and meteorological conditions..." Or whatever it is that governs actual weight loss. I guess biological things don't happen as fast as we can think of them. Like it takes a field of corn all summer to grow.

Yep it's nice when DH leaves for awhile but I do miss him when he is gone. I lived alone for many years and had a beautifully decorated wonderful house. Now our home is decorated with plastic tubs full of tools. Oh well. It's just stuff.

Yay Peps Ferndale. I will check the show times.

Just ate two small brownies leftover from holiday. At least they are gone now.

Well must start looking for stuff to give to the senior center rummage sale. My whole house looks like a giant garage sale.

Plastic tubs, that's fancy! DHs tools are often stored in ratty cardboard boxes. I love that he's handy (Red Green Show: if women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy :) of course, I find DH to be both) but once a fix, repair has been made, the tools sit forever, in their ratty box, until I finally move them.

If I had my "drurhers" I would stay in Florida too. But too many reasons we need to be all over the place...
