Yeah for the peppermint spray working. It's awesome to have a solution that doesn't involve poisons, traps or exterminators. CC it sounds like your social circle is ever expanding. Are a lot of the people you are meeting long time residents of Arizona, or people like yourself looking for their right fit environment?

Dreary, cold, some snowflakes pelting my face as I walked out of work. Ugh. Snow is just little bursts of flurries, but still! April 21st y'all.

DH and I are off to Happy Hour. Our Friday tradition if we don't have other plans. Happy hour drinks and snacks, home by 6:30, cozy night with Netflix. I had terrible insomnia last night, so a quiet night is sounding really nice.

It's a lot of retirees from colder places here. Some have been here a while, but by and large most people are from someplace else, which means they are very friendly and open to meeting new people. None of that locals vs. outsiders vibe. i just struggle to meet people that aren't well beyond my age. I get alone with older people, but there aren't many in their 50s here.

It's calm and fairly sunny. I will take it. DH went out to lunch and to Costco. I stayed home and enjoyed the house and control of the tv. Plus washed some clothes, played my games, watched true crime and glued my wine stoppers. Hate the glue smell but it needs to get done.

CC hope the peppermint works. You could put some pots of mint there too. Might be fun. I used to have a lot of mint growing in the yard and dogs would run through it and come in smelling minty fresh! And yeah seems like a lot for someone to invite themselves over but I bet they are curious about your fabulous house and want to see. Glad someone else will get take out. Go get wine at Trader Joes. Sounds like you are getting a nice group of friends. When we moved out here I found it easier than expected to make friends by joining a couple of clubs. You have done that. And Yeah I made a lot of older friends which is totally good. Don't clean anything and just say you have been having workers in a lot.

Peps many years ago I went to the Airedale national in St. Paul. It was along with all breed shows and I had my cairn there. I think I got a 4 point that weekend. I had a good friend there who had a very competitive male airedale. He placed highly as I recall. This friend of mine sadly died from melanoma many years ago. Her kennel name was Ad Lib. Anyway I hope you get to go to that show. Hope the last 20 days fly by.

DD I got rid of my bike a few years ago since last time i rode I fell over. But an e-bike is tempting. We see them lots. I sort of want an e scooter but know it's ridiculous as I don't have much of a sense of balance any more.

Have a few more adulting tasks to take care of. Calls, papers and blah blah blah. Wish I was snorkeling in bora bora. Liz keep living it up.

DH brought home a costco lasagne or something so thats dinner. Seems like I should be able to maintain weight loss with a modest serving of it and eating nothing else but not to be. Crap my sleeve does not let me pig out majorly. Why am I fat?
