So startling to hear someone so young was taken by Covid! How sad for your community.

This is turning out to be a sad day. I just got word a high school friend died in his sleep last night. I just saw him in March. Back in the day, he was one of my best friends, along with BFF and a few others. We grew up, and weren't as close, but I always enjoyed seeing him when we got together. There is a comfort and shorthand when you're with people who have known you your whole life. I guess I am that old that my peers can die in their sleep. RIP SJ, I wish your time here had been so much longer...

Greetings all

It's a great sunny day here. It might actually be spring. Flowers and budding trees all over and green green green. Of course that means the lawn is out of control. I need some goats.

I got home and DH is watching that awful 1899 show. Oh well better than in the evening when I am stuck with it.

Safe travels Liz. With your tooth don't eat any carmel apples! Doubt you could find one in Tahiti. Cant wait to hear about what you do. Ditto report on how decrepit a person can be and still go. Cheese sticks sound like a plan. Maybe a protein bar or two.

Hey Peps are your shows in Sacramento? I think thats where Ardith and her crew are off to since it's a border terrier specialty. But that means she will miss our puppy party here on Sunday.

Get well DD and don't feel one bit guilty about staying home sick. I really think our workplace should be changed so that people with colds and such don't come to work. It's just too rude to others to spread. Knock on wood but since covid protocol I have not had a cold. Several years.

CC who knew that balloons are noisy?? And coyotes? I guess they are everywhere. My brother lives in the Hollywood hills and they are all over the place. I think I saw one on our street one night or it might have been a fox. It crawled into the storm sewer.

So I got my pork belly sub today and was only able to eat 1/4. But the meat is so good. I bought a "pan of pork belly" for DH. He is in for a treat (after he is finished with this absurd tv show).

Stopped at the studio and did some glazing. And I beat the killer player at Scrabble but lost one game. My on line scrabble buddy is beating the crap out of me most nights.

Cheers all. Off to check the eagle nest. Diane S

My husband likes that show too. When I walk through the family room while he's watching I'd ask, are they STILL in Texas? Finally, they made it out.

You are thinking of 1893 which is a prequel to yellowstone. 1899 is a sci fi mess that takes place on a transatlantic ship. The Texas show is better but not much. Both are icky. Ds

Quick stop in California! We just landed at LAX (6:45 pm). We leave for the remaining flight just before midnight.
