Ohh, the glitch in the Matrix is indeed puzzling. I want to believe it is Shel letting us know she is okay in another place. Isn't this around the time she climbed Mount St. Helens?

I hope her daughter is well.

I think about her daughter too. Remember the graduation party Shel threw for her? I looked for Reed on FB and she hasn't posted anything I could see since 2022 when looks like she stared a doctoral program in physical therapy. Her profile picture is at her graduation with Shel

Liz, you probably won't have time, but we took a history trolley tour that was lots of fun. I just loved walking around the old city center, and looking at the old architecture. I took a lot of pictures of old doors.

Yeah, workshop day today, and I got a ton of stuff done so my first days back from break should go smoothly. Now it's time to wash clothes, and pack. I left my partially packed bag from Florida in the guest room/my office. I knew I wouldn't be wearing those clothes again until I went to Texas. I was so right, because we are under a winter storm warning right now. Possibly 6-8 inches of snow tonight. We don't fly out until 6:30pm tomorrow, so it should be cleaned up by then.

We had flurries yesterday. Such a weird weather year!

I hope you get out! The architecture is so cool and the vibe more like Savannah and Charleston than what I am used to in Florida.

It's overcast but not raining. Works for me.

We just got home from lunch. Went to an Asian restaurant with DH, his guy lunch friends and one wife. Good food and I brought a ton home. I was able to eat very little at the place thanks to sleeve and I had had nothing but coffee earlier. It was not unnoticed that DH and I are the fattest people at the table and yet eat the least.

So our one friend was there who was widowed last year. He talks a lot and since he can't hear he talks over other people. He was telling stories about his efforts to meet new women. He is on a match service but has had a few disasters. Not an easy thing at this stage of life but some of us know that. Anyway there were more amusing stories and I had to giggle a bit. We are all planning easter dinner together so that will be nice. But my hope that this guy would go for one meal without saying something disparaging about lawyers was dashed as he announced that being a lawyer was a license to commit extortion. Oh shut up.

The big plan for today is to wash my hair and allow air dry time. Then, wash about everything else in the house that I can stuff into the washing machine.

Liz now you are getting the home repair gremlin after it has been visiting CC! Hope it does not plan a visit here. CC good on you for walking and eating better. It's what we all need. Our chatty friend walks 45 miles per week and has lost a load of weight and I think the walking is most of it. He does intermittent fasting but I am not so sure thats the cause.

Peps we are thinking of you from the TT post. Hope you can find some peaceful quiet time while this plays out.

Our little eaglet is eating like a pig and being well fed. Peps you should tune in. Minnesota DNR eagle cam. Very zen.
