Good morning! Despite planning on never leaving, I do have to go home today. There are a few hours yet to swim and sun bathe but then off to the airport.
We are in a timeshare resort, that also rents room like a hotel. My favorite feature is a screen porch off of the bedroom. When we wake up we open the slider, and it feels like the whole bedroom is a porch.
Time to head to the pool. :)
It sounds like you found a fantastic place DD! Save travels home after you get your last warm weather in.
We are at the beach club likely for the last time until we come back in May to close on the new place. I packed away most of the personal bedding and decorative items yesterday and this morning started the hard-core packing of clothing. Yikes there is a lot! The shoes are a problem due to their bulkiness. I may have to cut back and/or put them in bags to tuck around the larger items. I also didn't pack smart enough to have what I need for the Keys separate from everything else so I will have to unpack everything for a month. Not good foresight. I probably should bring some hangers as most places only have a small number. More stuff to tuck in corners. We have the small 2 door sedan to pack in vs the usual large SUV for this trip so it will be TIGHT quarters.
Enough of that - time to enjoy the beach. Have a sunny Sunday!

Yesterday we enjoyed sun on the loungers out back and this was this morning:
Sun is coming out now. So beautiful. But this was snow event #11 and 12 is on Wednesday.
On the food front, I got a sign from the universe yesterday at the grocery store. I was buying something really crappy at the self check out along with my other things and it turned out a chunk of the barcode was missing from the otherwise pristine box so it wouldn't scan. There was no way to abandon my order and get another, so I saw it as the sign from above it was and left it behind.
Anyway, take care everyone! Safe travels, DD and good luck with packing, Liz!
The snow out there this year is unbelievable. I am glad we traveled there last year!
Signs from the universe can be very helpful. So glad packing and returning to winter are off my radar ! I have my colonoscopy consult, in preparation for a two day prep protocol. Mamo later this month, then signing my Will. 70 years old creeps closer !

Greetings all
I am rewarding myself with a hershey nugget for getting the gallery tax return done. Actually not quite done as it needs copying and to be posted. Having no secretarial help anymore I have to plan quite a bit more time for that part of it.
Snow almost everywhere except Florida! Ours is gone but there are still roads closed mainly due to fallen trees.
DD love the looks of that resort and the drink. Enjoy the hours of sun.
My studio buddy is a basket case. She is not well and is stressing herself big time with some business transactions. It's hard to listen to as i can see a number of non useful things she is doing that waste time and energy but there is no talking to her. I have promised to check on her daily and will do that. She has diagnosed herself with some kind of respiratory virus and has a storehouse of antibiotics (note: aren't those only for bacterial stuff?). Again. No reasoning.
Dinner last night was some lean and rare roast beef and green beans. Thats like I used to fix in the old days post vsg. More tonight to stay on the healthy theme though there may be some small new potatoes. I found out that the guy at the deli that makes the pot pies has broken ribs and will be out for awhile. Hence the purchase of roast beef.
CC hah, the bar code on the crappy food item failed! Its cosmic. Hey how about a scanner that rejects every item of food you should not eat? Or make it a phone app. Sort of like my idea for a store that only has stuff you can eat. Of course I can see the check out with 90 % of items being rejected.
Not much else but at least I have done some stuff today. And scrabble resumes tuesday. Cheers.

A food store with only healthy AND tasty food would be prefect but would we go there all the time???
You are a good friend to your studio buddy. She sounds like she might benefit from some therapy?
