I am also looking forward to seeing pictures and hearing about your trip. So exciting!
Greetings all
Well the snow is pretty well gone. Power went off this morning for about an hour with no discernible reason. It's calm, sunny, no wind or rain and no earthquake. Go figure. But all is well now.
Yeah my fence looks sort of artsy when wet but it's really pretty bland. Ok by me.
Speaking of bland, I don't think I would like to live at a place like Celebration. Isn't that Disney? Like being in Disney land all the time? We live in a contrasting area with no HOA, no restrictive covenants and pretty much no rules unless you really annoy someone. The lime green school bus is no longer around but there are other non operating cars on the street. It's not unusual to hear sounds of chickens or goats. And there are often facebook alerts that someone's llamas are out or ducks are roaming. There are goats down the street. We sort of live in green acres.
Peps good on you for keeping at this journey. Getting off the train does not do any good. Hope it warms up there and everywhere for that matter. Except for DD who has it perfect!
Jury summons are the plague of our county. Not many people so they come all the time. I have showed up down there so many times but always manage to duck out. Having reached age 70 I am not entitled to tell them I am too unhealthy to come down there. My main objection is how early in the morning it is. No can do. I recently learned that about 80% of people here just blow off the summons and no one does anything.
Need to make a trip to the store and hoping to find a pot pie. I have not been out for two days and it's time.
Things are not good in eagle land. Poor female was in the nest under 6 inches of snow. Faithfully sitting on the eggs that are not going to hatch.
Shirley cant wait to hear about your trip. Truly an adventure!!!
