Another day with appointments and calls to be made. We have to drive a half hour north for Mike's dermatology appointment so we are going to have lunch at a place on the water.
Hopefully we will hear back from the attorney on his review and can get the P&S signed off as well as schedule the home inspection. I am already making lists of the items I want to take from here and what we may need to buy for the new place. No purchases are needed right away as we are buying it furnished but I do want to move some things around and add a bed to one room in place of the current sleep sofa. And there are some ugly light fixtures which need to be replaced.
Justice has been a bit barky this morning. Mike thinks he is sensing change coming. Not necessarily unusual with him as he is almost always right on in assessing if dogs/people are nervous or aggressive. Speaking of which our next door neighbors in the new place have 2 extra large male goldens. Henry is a big love bug but Deuce can be a bit aggressive at times apparently. We will have to introduce them slowly. At least they have already smelled Justice on me and he smelled them on me as well.
Not much else to report. Have a thriving Thursday!
Lots of action today. I walked Sadie and then Luke, a golden doodle whose owner pulled her back out. On my way to meet friends for dinner and then a local group of performers. Not even sure what I'm seeing!

Greetings all
It's overcast but dry here. Pretty cold. There is quite a bit of snow 15 miles inland. Yay for living in the coastal zone.
And yay for walking dogs on a beach Ocean Diane. Few things are more fun. Good on you for taking the doodle dog.
Liz glad the house is coming together. I bet the dogs work out fine provided they are introduced slowly. My niece did that with her new puppy from us with her older dogs. And yeah, every house has ugly light fixtures! And when you shop for new ones nearly all the ones at the store are ugly! About one out of 100 is ok.
Turkey pot pie tonight plus costco chicken. A veritable buffet.
Eagle hatch watch continues. No signs yet.
Spent some time at the studio today. The place was packed. No where to park. Good to see it busy but glad I have my little room there.
Laundry done and clean clothes are in abundance.
DH is watching a movie so ridiculous and disgusting that I won't even describe it.
We watched the first episode on Poker Face. An interesting show on Pea**** It's not until episode 4 or 5 that we get to the music our nephew wrote so we look forward to that.

I may take a page from Justice and start barking and add growling. So far our new Director of Special Ed has eliminated my supervisors position, and now he might be cutting our clerk who schedules 400 different meetings a year for special ed between our 2 high schools. Yes, 400 meetings! Each teacher probably has to facilitate 20-30 each year. Its a lot of time to schedule them because there are certain people who must attend, like a dean, sometimes the school psych, sometimes the social worker, sometimes all of them! Plus of course the parents, me, and at least one general ed teacher. It will take all the prep time I have and more to set these up if there is no more clerk.
Then our new Superintendent, to save money, said we couldn't have mini fridges, microwaves, Kuerigs, space heaters, fans(!), in our classrooms. I have 20 minutes for lunch, and our building is huge. If I could fit my lunch in the staff fridge (I can't) it will take up more of my time to go fetch it, and stand in line to use the microwave. I would gladly pay an energy fee to keep my stuff, but so far, not an option. And for heavens sake, i never use a fan, but some people do, I've never heard that a FAN is a big energy drain. So much for appreciating us heroes.
Rant over, went to work out, and it felt good. DH is making dinner. Many things in life are lovely.
Afternoon All,
Im home resting after my second cortizone injection in my hip. Worked till 1pm then ducked home for a shower and then apt. Its 38 degrees celcius today so Im laying on my bed under the fan. This one hurt a lot more than the previous one so Im hopeful they hit the target and it brings relief. Im praying I dont get the shocking dizziness I suffered last time but what will be will be
Quiet weekend for me. DH has acid washed the new path and pressure washed it all in preparation for the sealer. That will be tommorrow. Our builder called past and measured up to replace our back deck cover. Its falling apart and was a very average job when done. Im dreading the quotes but it must be done. That will be something we make a decision on after we get back.
Liz - sounds like everything is falling into place with the new home :) Super exciting
Diane O - I love reading about you getting out with friends and enjoying yourself. So deserved
Diane S - I refuse to watch a lot of what my DH picks as well!
DD - And the new broom makes their impact. Thats so ridiculous..... Have they considered the loss in productivity as you all scramble to try and get back to your classes from the lunchroom when you likely wouldnt have left the class if you had your fridge!
Cec - Hope you are feeling a little better as is your Dad? Stay warm
Peps - Hope you had a wonderful birthday
Take care all and have a wonderful evening
