The weekend has arrived which I only recognize because I have yoga this morning. This week I will have done yoga twice and water aerobics once so I am feeling somewhat virtuous. Of course after March 1st I am back to mostly my daily walking.

Speaking of March 1, I need to start separating my clothing to bring with me vs what is staying. And also begin packing up personal items to get out of the renters way. One plus is that this stuff will already be packed for the move in May, so all that will remain for packing will be the bedding and kitchen stuff.

Not sure what the plan for dinner is - TBD.

During the summer when I get to practice retirement I am aware of weekends because recreation things like the beach, restaurants etc are crowded. It's delightful to be out and about having fun on weekdays when it's quieter.

Speaking of weekends, it still feels so luxurious to have DH here, each and every weekend. Whatever hit we took in terms of cash flow, it has so been worth it. Before he retired, they had moved from full-time people working every other weekend to 3 weekends a month! He had to do that for about 2 years before he could retire. This is much better!!! During the school year, he's working 7-12 Tu -F, and when summer arrives, he take a leave, and come and play with me :)

Today we are going to see Hello Dolly!. It's a solid musical, but not on my list of favorites. The theater staging it constantly surprises with fresh takes and new perspectives, so I'm curious to see how they approach this old nugget. Then these old folks are heading to dinner in the trendiest part of Minneapolis right now, The North Loop. I may have to up my fashion game a bit today.

No workout today, but I will go tomorrow. We don't have any Super Bowl plans, except that DH will watch the game. I think it starts rather late in the evening, I will no doubt be in bed before it all wraps up.

Enjoying the sun here and the warms it creates in my little studio. I finally bit the bullet and did a bunch of gallery banking that had been piling up. I keep track of member dues and it seems like there is always some hitch - a check not signed, someone paying in cash, someone over or underpaying and on and on. But I am now caught up and it's done. Yay me. Now on to the tax returns.

Lordy are the junk calls coming in fast and furious. I wrote our congressman about it once. It really might be time to trash the land line. I think there have been 8 today and the day ain't over.

Ha Liz in retirement the days of the week are no longer defined by work schedule but by leisure stuff. I frequently have to think about what day it is. DD soon this will be you too! Hope the musical was good. I saw it on broadway literally 60 years ago. Not Carol Channing.

Leftovers tonight. My favorite recipe. Heat and serve.

We will make chili for the Super Bowl tomorrow. My studio buddy will likely come by.

Just had tuna salad. Suddenly, a nap sounds like a good plan.
