Quick post as I am going to water aerobics this morning. It is finally warm enough on a day without company.
So we loved the condo we viewed last night. It is about 250 square feet larger than ours with the space in all the right places. No renovations needed though over time I would swap out a few minor things like light fixtures and maybe some paint. All the things that need to be done here have already been taken care of (new kitchen and bathrooms, enclosed lanai). The view is amazing and dolphins gave us a show while we sat on the lanai! So we are exploring it - we would own it jointly vs. Mike's place so it would be "ours". We shall see if we can work it out. We are new friends with the owners so that is possibly tricky too. Mike is going to have an introductory cost/timing/etc. discussion with the husband today and I am asking my financial advisor for advice. Fingers crossed and anxiety tamped down! Here is the view:
Time to finish coffee and get ready for the water. A Justice walk will follow (Mike is golfing until 1 or so). Have a winning Wednesday!
What a wonderful possibility for you to explore, Liz! The view is lovely, too. Does the open water view with docking across allow for enough privacy for you? One of my boxes is the ability to block out the world around me, so I love views that are completely natural - no buildings or manmade objects in my sightline. That for me is bliss.... Ann's Missouri farm was absolutely idyllic to me.
Weight is the lowest it's been since pre Christmas time. That's kind of nice.... Maybe as I continue to log and monitor I will see some more drops in weight. Technically, I'm not "dieting" or trying to lose weight, but I think the simple act of logging my food is making me more aware of my choices. I noticed that yesterday I ate more fruits and veggies than I have in a while. The choices didn't seem intentional, but perhaps subconsciously they were. Personally, I think holding fast to my 'No dessert type foods until after dinner" is doing me a world of good.
Pups are 4 weeks old today. Time to move them to their big puppy pen and for me to move back into my own bed! Yay! They are doing really well with transitioning to eating, which makes my life much easier! After last time with 14 pups and the 3 that needed help, this is a delightful, easy litter!
Not much else, except that it is a glorious late winter day here. Mid 30s this morning, but crystal clear and it's going to warm up into the upper 50s and maybe even 60s by this afternoon!!!!! I'm wearing a light short sleeved shirt under my down jacket. Wishful thinking....
Good for those pups giving you more time!
The condo is on the 3rd (top floor) so fairly private. I took a walk outside it on the boardwalk during my Justice walk this morning and couldn't see in at all.
Wow Liz, sounds awesome. Doing business with friends can be kind of tricky, but since they're new friends you'll do fine without them if it messes things up. Kidding, I'm just kidding.
Peps isn't the only one with good weather, it is 42 degrees here! Lots of melting. I stood in the parking lot chatting with a colleague without whimpering or crying :)
I am feeling good about my food choices, continue to feel the fat burner is on, but the scale doesn't move. Patience I guess. What else is there to do? I really can't trim much more calorie wise without draining my energy. Back to working out tomorrow. Hopefully that will give me a boost.
Greetings all
Wow Liz, that view is great. Hope it works out.
Sunny again here after a storm a day ago. The house got cleaned and dog laundry done. Ear meds tonight. I got some deli meatballs for dinner tonight so thats figured out.
Spent some time at the studio glazing today. The place is really busy. Such a great hang out. found out about a new wine bar I will have to check out.
Yeah Peps I think you are right about the tracking. It makes a huge difference. Some kind of personal accountability I guess. I do know that I did well when tracking. Do you use a phone app or pencil and paper?
DD glad things are melting but beware of the slush! How many days until spring break?
Poppy starts ear drops tonight. That should be fun Poppy weighed 17 pounds at the vet which is too much. So it's official - every creature in this house needs to lose weight.
We are still watching Slow Horses and I think are about through it. I hope we can get "poker face" soon since our nephew wrote some of the music for it.
Time to feed dogs and husband, in that order.

Some of my dogs were easy to give ear drops to, some not so much. Hopefully Poppy is in the former category.
