Only 4 weeks left in the house here until we depart to the Florida Keys for a month (renters will be here March and April). Packing up personal belongings is going to be a lot more involved than previously since all my Florida stuff was moved here last spring. I am also saving Amazon boxes for potential storage or shipping. Not only will there be a lot to store away here but the car we drive home in is much smaller than the Jeep Grand Cherokee we usually have (it is a smaller 2 door sedan). Yikes!

We won one game and lost the other in bocce yesterday. I actually wasn't too bad (better than Mike I think which is a surprise). Our friends are leaving today. It was nice going out with them last night but will also be great to be on our own for a while.

I am looking forward to getting my hair cut and highlighted this afternoon which it needs badly. I have NO idea where I will get it done the next time as it will be due just before our big trip but I won't be able to do it at home.

Oh and I started the medication last night. I was possibly a bit more drowsy but I am really not sure. We shall see if it makes a difference in my eating today. Have a winsome Wednesday!

I hope never to pack again !! I don't know how it is possible to downsize each time, and end up with more stuff ! I meet with my trust attorney this morning, then have my taxes done. I ended up owing $$$$ last year because of inheritance stuff. I'll end the day tutoring my two first grade boys.

Aww, you're tutoring? What subjects? I often think about whether I will still be involved in teaching in some way when I retire...

Lots done today! I got a surprise call from the pest guy who I thought forgot about me who said he was coming by to kill my wasps nests. Woohoo!

And then while I was showing him where the demon bugs were, the roofers appeared unannounced to measure the roof for an estimate for recoating. And he sealed what he thought was causing my second leak. Double woohoo! I love when stuff happens and I didn't have to beg, dance, and jump through hoops to make it happen!

The A/V work continues to progress. 2 more days...

It's 49 degrees, but the patio feels wonderful in the sun. Who would have thought the 40s would feel toasty?

I walked 2.2 miles yesterday and will likely do it again today. Food is alright quantity-wise. Quality could be a lot better. I've been on a carb kick. I just need to kick the carbs.

Tare care everyone and may all your vents be wasp-free!

Liz will be a bocce ball boss soon! Did you start with the 25mg dose? I felt a lot more impact around food thoughts when I got to 50mg.

I did bloodwork this morning, total cholesterol is under 200, but my LDL is still a bit high, because my triglycerides are pretty low at 80, and HDL is 60 ... But still overall cholesterol at 197 for a chubby 61 year old, not too bad I think.

I don't know if I'll work out today as I stayed late with my club. Its pretty funny listening to their Dungeons and Dragon talk while I work at my desk while they're playing.

Greetings all

More sun here. I will take it. No *****ing. The winter sun warms my studio and dries out my pieces if I want it to. It's all good.

I stopped at the hippie grocery store (one of several) and scored a pot pie. Beef which is a new offering. Had fun with the clerk who motioned me over and I said "come on down" and he did this Bob Barker schtick. Kid was 1/3 my age.

Liz I don't really long to travel these days but the Florida keys might be an exception. Might have to do it before we get too old. GL with that new med. And yay for one bocce ball win. Go Sharks!

CC glad your work people showed up. Exterminators are your friends. We had a gigantic wasp nest a few years ago - big as a watermelon- and this guy just came and plucked it off the eaves. No protective gear. And we have monthly spraying for ants. Roof repair is a good thing. Now you need not worry and can watch giant tv peacefully.

We are into the second season of Slow Horses. Still good. Misfit British spies. I have heard that series "somethings wrong with Fleishman" or something like that.

DD I bet it is indeed fun to listen to Dungeon and Dragons. Never learned that game but sounds cool. The community center here has a family game night which is advertised as having several D and D tables.

Not much new. Soon I will finish up taxes for the gallery and pay review for our studio director. Wish we could pay her a million dollars. She is worth it. The place is full again and our on line class sign up is filled up in 30 minutes. Bet we could double our space and fill it. Then more banking for the gallery. Business is very slow there this time of year without tourists.

I broke down last night and cooked some hamburger for the girl dogs to put on their kibble. They just seemed so forlorn and uninterested in their food. So much for me being a hard ass and making them eat kibble only.

Thats it. Time to check the eagle cam. pip watch in 2 weeks. Then on line scrabble. Diane S

I tried kibble only with Justice at one point but ultimately have ended up with a 1/2 mixture of kibble and wet which he loves. Seems to work well for his digestive system and energy and his teeth aren't any worse so I'm continuing it.
