Making our placeholder. Well the weather forecast is for no sunshine in the foreseeable future. Vitamin D supplement it is. In about a month I'll feel the Florida sun on my head. It will be awesome.

Getting ready to go to a mini high school reunion. My BFF organized it, so I said I would go. My thought to these kind of get togethers is, if I wanted to hang out with these people I would already be doing that. I do have friends from high school who are still some of my closest friends. But I will go with an open mind, and I'm sure there will be some people who I will see and think, that was nice. Perhaps they will feel the same :) Again, pretty low stakes, because if I wanted their friendship, I would have pursued it.

Then tonight DH and I are trying a new to us music venue. It's at a venerable dinner theater in the area. They are doing concerts in their smaller theater (they run musicals on their mainstage). For the concerts you can do just music or dinner and music, we're going to try the dinner option and see what we think. The performance is a big band with a soloist performing Sinatra. We saw him once in another venue and really enjoyed him and his band. If we like this venue, we'll have another great place for music because their upcoming line up looks interesting.

Happy Saturday Y'all!

Greetings all

The sun continues to bless us with its presence. A couple of days now. I was at the gallery yesterday afternoon which was slow but y friend came by with her newish dog. He is a border terrier from show lines who did not work out in the show run. He is an extremely calm sweet dog - not like our other border terriers (terrors) so it's nice. Had a good chat with my friend who has been receiving treatment with blood platelets injected for a sore shoulder. Seems to be working. It's a slow time for the gallery so time to catch up on some bank deposits and record keeping.

Not much else new. Old Chip is still with us though I think in a slow decline. No more seizures so far.

CC I had no idea what a yarn bomb was. I thought it was some kind of exchange of balls of yarn. What a great idea to display yarn made things all over. How long are they displayed? Don't they get wet? Hope you can display some things. I used to crochet some and my grandmother made all those classic beautiful things. Some of them I use to press into clay which is very cool.

Not much planned today. Maybe get stuff for chili tomorrow. And I always enjoy the studio on a sunny winter day because i have big south windows and it's warm and well lit. The studio is back to full capacity. Wish we had about twice as much space.

We have been watching Servant which is pretty weird and also "Your Honor" which is also weird. DH has found yet another post apocalyptic sci fi show called The rest of us or something like that. Not my cup of tea but its only one show at a time.

Enjoy the live music DD. Sounds like a good show.

Peps are puppy eyes open yet? Can't wait until they are ambulatory.

Booooo..... I have a cold. Feels like a good old fashioned cold. I have a stuffy nose, scratchy throat, and feel a little tired - but that's about it. Still not nearly as nice as feeling 100%. I suppose I should take a covid test, just in case, but this feels pretty run of the mill, much unlike the two times I have had covid.

Pups are no longer the Three Musketeers! Their feeding has gotten them redubbed, "The Three Little Pigs"! LOL! They are the fattest, roly-poly pups ever. I just adore my little piglets! They are all 2.5 pounds. Utterly ridiculous for this age! But they are using their front legs properly, so I'm not worried at this point about them becoming "swimmers".

Day 2 of sugar reset went well. Interestingly, I'm up 2 pounds, which makes no sense to me, but the NUT said I would gain weight during the reset. Go figure. She cited inflammation as the culprit.

Like Diane S, we have gorgeous blue skies. It feel great in the sun, though it is definitely warm coat weather in the shade.

BFF's old dog Rosie (one of mine) is winding down and really triggering BFF's depression and despair. He won't get help and I'm out of strategies to help him. I am focusing on making Rosie's last weeks here pleasant and comfortable. I can't fix BFF, but I can focus on helping him navigate the journey of Rosie's decline. I wish he could "adult up" for his own sake, but I do understand depression and anxiety are real and changing thinking and neuro-pathways us a monumental challenge.

Time to go play with dogs and puppies.
