Greetings all
It rained lots last night but not right now. The cloud cover makes it hard to wake up as I have no external clue what time it is.
DH went out to lunch and brought home Chinese food. Yay, dinner is done for the night. Lately seems like all my cooking is to make food that old Chip will eat. The boiled chicken thighs were a big hit though now he thinks he should be hand fed. And I am now doing a load of wash with the pads that are under his pen and the clean up rags. It's like running a diaper service. But every day he is still here is a gift. I posted a face book complement to the new pharmacy for getting me extra pills for him when we ran out. We are now set.
Friday the 13th! Liz glad it's a good day for you. Remember when buildings did not have a 13th floor because it was bad luck?
CC glad the decorator has surfaced. I like contemporary stuff but not if it's cold and unwelcoming like the current grey fad. Your house will be so fun to decorate - it has all the "bones". Eclectic stuff is what I like. Old and new mixed together. Plus you can do some southwestern charm. My friend up here has a mexican style house with lots of stuff from mexico and it's great.
My studio buddy will come watch football tomorrow. She is finally getting through some of the problems that have plagued her (and therefore also plaguing me) so I am glad for that. Swears she will be back to the studio soon. It's the year of the rabbit in China so our plan is to make bunnies from clay. Peps is your depressed friend doing any better? It's such a drain on you. I wonder how therapists manage all the stuff they hear about. At least you have puppies to hug.
So I have stuff to make chili tomorrow in a fairly healthy way. Meanwhile, time to attack mount laundry. Diane S
As long as our canine family members are still able to get enjoyment out of life it is worth the work with the puppy pads and the laundry. Someone stated recently to me that they would euthanize a dog at that point and I have to think that they were not as fond of their doggies as we are.
