CC, I made that Mexican chicken yesterday. It was so easy and tasted fantastic. Really healthy too if the cheese is minimized. Thank you!
DS, I hope the crazy California weather subsides soon.
Today I have to bring my 10 year old car to be looked at because it shudders when accelerating between 20-25. I have kept it well maintained and it is in great shape other than that so I hope the repair isn't something like a new transmission. Always something: yesterday it was a $1000 repair to the garage door up north.
The only other plans today are a bocce team meeting at 4 and possible happy hour attendance afterwards.
Time to take the car. Have a fulfilling Friday!

Bocce Ball lives on!! Hope the car repair isn't too awful. I remember when sometimes the repair might be around $150, now it usually starts in at several 100 , but it's still cheaper than monthly car payments...
I got my 5th Covid booster today. I was going to get it in October, but I got the real deal, Covid, instead. It's been 3 months, almost, so I didn't want to keep waiting. The pharmacist sort of insinuated it was too late, that the new variant circulating in the U.S. was evading the vaccine. I hope he was wrong. But anyhow, I'm boosted just the same.
Not sure what we'll do tonight. Tomorrow we're going to my BILs house. Our niece and her husband, who live in San Diego, are visiting for the weekend. He wanted to come in January because he's never really seen snow. Well he picked the right weekend, because we will definitely have some snow to show him. Piles and piles of snow. On Sunday, we're having brunch with the college roomies, spouses invited this time. Has to be early, so the Vikings fans can get home for the 12pm game. Although after what happened last week, I don't know why they're in a hurry to watch another game.
Being out of the house and back at work is good for my food choices. That, and all the Christmas cookies are finally gone. Not very many tempting foods in the house, just normal things that taste good, but you don't lose your mind over.
Always good to have it done for the year!
