Happy Flippin' New Year! LOL!

Unlike Diane S, we are getting blasted by a "Pineapple express"/"Atmospheric River". I posted videos on TT.... I am glad the house in on a rise above the creek. About 100 feet down the creek the banks have long since washed away so the trail and neighbor's yard flood terribly. I haven't been able to see if the water has crept up to their garage.

I have been seriously contemplating the next phase of my weight journey. It's interesting to me how the knowledge of my eating disorder triggers influences my thinking about weight loss. I also think that because I have pretty much found a rhythm in maintaining my excess weight and my size stays constant I have mixed feelings about even attempting to lose weight. Ah, but at least I think... LOL

The dogs are sopping wet from their latest bathroom run..... nothing like WET AIREDALE smell. It's not offensive - simply a unique smell. Airedale owners the world over know and discuss that unique odor. I know retired breeders who claim to miss it!

BFF is having a major depressive episode. Nothing I can do, but be there to listen. He's having a more intense bout than normal I think because his beloved old girl dog Rosie is 13 and really beginning to show signs of decline - loss of appetite and some bowel issues. It really triggers his anxiety and worry when she is "off".

Planning an at home Italian dinner tonight and maybe a movie or friendly parlor game like Cards Against Humanity. I always laugh so much when we play that!
